I don’t struggle with seeing my value or my worth at all. However when I was younger I sure did and I feel that meeting my twin flame has really put my beliefs about myself to the test - but it stands! Does this mean that union is close? He is in his dark night and going through a massive spiritual awakening, like everything at once so he is really struggling with even figuring himself out. He recognises this connection and he does also feel I am his twin flame, truly made for each other. We're in no contact now because he needed space to figure things out, also he wants to protect my spirit and sense of self from disrespect as well as trying to honor his wife (They have a long-distance relationship on 2 different continents) while he figures things out. He didnt get married for love he told me, but rather he thought marriage would anchor somekind of happiness within him while he was descending into depression when his dark night started some time last year. I feel no doubt we will be together, but the not knowing when is really bringing my ego out trying to push thoughts I don’t want. Trying to surrender every second!!!

They're in a relationship, unfortunately, however im not a relationship person at all and they're the only person I've experienced these feelings for 5 years at this point. I'm just being patient, taking one step at a time, and following my instincts. I'm showing continued interest respectfully and subtly, and I'm ok with that because that's legitimately what I can do. I'm being present, and expressing that I think about them a lot and really want to get to know them on a deeper level. I suspect it's a realistic play in this case, just based off observations and assumptions. It appears to be a more surface level dating relationship. But idk, I'm just ensuring that I let it happen naturally. If it's truly meant to be, I know I will get the chance to connect with someone I find really special. If not, than it's going to be a big loss but if that time comes ill go through what's necessary for myself. For now, just being patient and optimistic :)

So please explain it to me exactly how do I stop feeling betrayed when they have chosen someone else in essence telling me I am are second rate. And that is exactly what it is - they chose someone else to be first in their heart - and I am not a second rate soul. May I challenge a limiting belief that you seem to have? Do we always choose the best thing for us when that thing feels hard or even impossible? Imagine a choice---you can climb to Everest base camp or you can go on a hike on a local trail. One is infinitely more rewarding and would be a more special experience, but it may not be within one's grasp at the particular time. Perhaps one couldn't afford to fly to Nepal, or didn't currently have the mental or physical fortitude to do the climb. So then, does the choice to walk the local hike mean that the Everest trek is less than? Does your not being 'chosen' by your twin flame for a 3D relationship right now automatically mean you are 'second rate'?
