Have been on site with a y a young engineer, being a cruel being , I would stand around with electricians and plant workers and watch them fumble about. 5 or 6 hours in wecwould select a newbie to guide him or her in the right direction . We had this down to a science and it would work well into overtime every time. It wasn't fair these young engineers had no practical experience in the field. Even once let one make ball lightning, tried to tell him but he re indeed me he was in charge, 10nhours ot , and laughed at him . Ask you engineering self how can two 8 gage wires crossed add in a 10,000 amp 400mvolt battery and a DC exciter on a 400 hp motor ....and a 6000 volt main .
