We can learn a lot from animals. They don’t stress about nutrients or calories and eat when hungry, and stop eating when comfortable. My cats are good teachers.

well your cats have to eat the same shitty dish every single day. if you had to same repeitive, shitty meal everyday, you too would stop when full naturally, no? every american would, no?. instead, we have unlimited variety from which we can select the most delicious processed junk that was engineered to hijack your pleasure centers of your brain

Ah you can’t imagine how much I needed this video Morgan. I ate a little bit too much, I mean more than my usual yesterday, felt awful about it and found myself in the bathroom afterwards. But I didn’t do it reminding myself that only one day of kind of ‘overeating’ won’t make me gain weight, and I’ll get back to my track in no time and I did. Please do keep sharing this sort of videos they truly help. 🥺🙏🏻

I hate the way I see food. Yesterday I overate so much and I don’t know why I do it but I feel like now today I have to restrict. I was so embarrassed by the amount of candy wrappers I had sitting next to me

I just wanted to tell you that Jesus loves you. He'll literally always be right next you. Even during the toughest of times. God will never turn away from you. He died for you, so that you can be saved. All you have to do is believe in Him and turn to Him.

I wish I had the will power to actually do this..... I never want to become a part of the 75% of obese Americans & I feel like "Letting Yourself have what you want" will lead to a downhill slope into becoming a part of that..... With that said I almost feel like its better to become a part of them than battle the thoughts every day

i believe intuitive eating is a better health/fitness lifestyle for people who have a higher metabolism or skinny people but i want to really fix my relationship with food... sorry if this was triggering.

i’m no expert AT ALL but i think that if you keep eating intuitively you’ll gradually stop overeating because your body will get use to getting enough food. english is not my first languages btw so idk if i explained it well but again, i’m not an expert and it can be different to everyone and if you’re binging then the best thing is to talk to somebody.

hi morgan- i just have a question. im an extremely active teenager with an eating disorder and i tried upping my intake by a couple calories slowly. im currently esting 2400 calories and i feel very guilty. do you think its a good amount of calories for my body . btw im not underweight x
@ivyannlitton
@ivyannlitton 3 жыл бұрын
eat whatever amount of calories makes you FEEL GOOD physically, and also satisfies you mentally. there's no magic number - just do what makes you feel your best and allows you to not obsess over food. i'd also recommend getting a therapist and even a nutritionist if it's affordable to you, and if not talk to someone you trust about it for help. you got this

what you mean by "intutivie eating (eating whatever i want in moderation)" is really more like "if it fits your macros and calories". Because true intuitive eating in the 21st century by true definition of the word is how people get on My 600 Pound life. They eat all the junk food they want until they don't want it anymore. no? And what exactly do you mean by moderation? By portion control so that they fit into your calories, right? this is second nature to people who have spent years calorie counting and portion controlling, but it's anything but intuitive for people without that background.
@arnydoll
@arnydoll Жыл бұрын
Morgan, be careful with this advice. For those losing weight u may have to restrict for a time. For those struggling with eating disorders know the difference between listening to your mind and your body. Your body may say junk bc all it knows is junk. So just be careful. Seek help if needed.

This was awesome! You're so inspiring for me 🥰 I'm honestly trying to fix my relationship with fitness right now because my relationship with food is doing a lot better so this is the kind of content I'm looking for. ❤ Another useful tips I've found is to try to tune with my emotions while I'm moving my body like how I'm feeling that moment of the day and try to work it out through exercise. Also if I'm not enjoying what I'm doing then I'm not obligated to continue with it. This year I decided that I will be only responsible for myself meaning I'm doing the best I can to take care of my mental, emotional and physical health. I'm not sacrificing one for the other like I did in the past.

I disagree with this. As someone who has gone up and down with my weight many times, I can’t just eat whatever I want. I have to control portions. If I just ate what I wanted, I would be very overweight.
