Antwon Williams-Smith my favorite lens for shooting dance are wide angle lenses (10mm-20mm), because you can get up close and for most of their body in the shot! But if you can make higher focal length lenses work, it’ll be really cool!

@@joshvillanueva6985 Depends on what look you're going for and how much depth youre trying to capture sharp, but if you want a safe aperture that will capture most people who are just staggering by a few feet, I've found that 5.6f works pretty reliably for me on my sony 10-18mm lens!
