Great tutorial. What is the sample called (ProphetV3?) that you use for the melody in the section “play nice with your chords”? Where can I get it?

Should we write chords first then try to figure out the melody..or make a melody first then figure out the chords??🤔
@Diirk4 жыл бұрын
Good question
@jackbattye33554 жыл бұрын
I find it depends on what you feel is best. I think creating chords first and then constructing your melody around the chords is the easiest method as the chords can give you an idea on where you should go with the melody in terms of the vibe and feelings of the song. Try both methods and see what works for you 😁. Hopefully that helps a little.

While making melody do u consider scales? Or after put all the notes then u see about scale ?
@chrisallen58034 жыл бұрын
mukul kumar Typically you want to pick a scale and then work out your chords/melodies within that scale
@nickthechen4 жыл бұрын
Agreed with Chris Allen, I’d say 95 percent of the time I pick the scale to work with before composing the melody
