The fourth story is a classic grooming story, and the irony here (though I am not sure the narrator is aware of this) is that the “bad” stepfather probably saved her from being raped (or worse). It isn’t so much that an adult male actually “does” stuff. The potential is there. The stalker has to know where the potential adversary is. Note that in many, many cases, a single mom and kid is preferable for the stalker.

The dog story actually happened to a friend of mine. She had to get a bark collar for him. When she was gone the neighbor would come over and pound and kick on the door. To the point he would bark to the point of causing his neck bleed. I know this cuz we got so tired of him having this cruel lady doing it then telling people he was a vicious dog. Till she did it one day that I was staying with him and I caught her. Finally the lady was kicked out of the building. She was not allowed back into the building not even to see her friends. Justice!!! God bless
