There you go!!! You got it!! Question when you put the engine in you do know it has to be aligned. The coupling on the engine and the coupling on the drive shaft must be aligned with in 3 thousandths. It should be checked after the boat in backing the water if done on land. If misaligned the transmission will be damaged.

Hi Brian . Just checking in on you to see how your doing. Maybe you might want to check out Parley channel. And Barefoot sailing and dive. And 9 to 5less. They have have either old boats or hurricane damaged boats that they have or are working on fixing up. There are all sorts of people out there that will tell you that you're crazy and you're nuts to take on a project like this. About this boat is not worth fixing and that it's all a piece of garbage. And if you look at it they may be right. But that isn't the point is it. You have a dream to own a boat to sail Bluewater, sail around the world. That's your dream. And maybe you can't afford to do that right now. But I know for sure that if you stick to it your channel will grow especially if you can get the news out now that you're beginning this project people love to see this type of stuff. Barefoot sailing and dive just are in the process of building a new. binnimmie for their boat. Parley is finished and is sailing . They have a very extensive video collection on how they did it . All sorts of advice on both those channels. 9to5less are a couple that will give you the encuragement. They have this old boat and are on their way to Florida. My point is don't let none believers ruin YOUR dream . Plus from what I've noticed . Your Mother believes in you. Ask her to video for you while your doing the projects. I think she'll be proud to help when she can . My advice to you is to believe in the people that believe in you. Like 9to5less said. Out of all the people watching you 50,% want you succeed. Ill add to that by saying you've got to make fools of the other 50%. You will always have haters. People that are to afraid to try things for them selves. You've got my vote to succeed.

I do apologize, I started sailing in the North Bay of San Francisco (at 12, and the NorthBay will teach you limits of your skills and gear in a HURRY!, and one of my first jobs was a mast-man/rigger in a boat-yard (hanging/rigging masts) and have more than a few boat owners show up and go 'You mean the warped mast is why I cannot get my new main to the top of the mast?"...
