Slight change just don’t use your palm for number two. Use your forearm. You see Wing Chun use this a lot. The only difference is they throw the punch at the same time they throw the block

I have a black belt in Jiu-Jitsu and competed in MMA through my twenties and thirties. One thing I don't see on here a lot is people talk about the laws. I have friends who actually were jumped and fought back and they received a felony. I don't see no one warning anyone about the laws. If you go out and just start striking on someone and they die you're going to prison. I say that because a former teammate killed someone on accident by punching them and they hit their head. He went to prison even though he had no formal record and did not mean to do it. Everyone can choose how they want to react but I would just keep the laws in the back of your mind.

Leaning back seems like a bad idea for the untrained, likely panic, over lean lose balance and tackles. Best thing is to go to mma/ boxing/ Muay Thai gym and train for real.
