Does the cross fader curve have to be adjusted every time you turn the mixer on? I just got back into DJ'ing after 30 years. Theres a lot to learn about DVS.

The crossfader curve stays on the last setting you left it on.

If you look at the FX buttons on deck 1, on the very first button FX1/CUT 1, underneath says CF Reverse. Hold SHIFT and click that button.

Can you use reverse and adjust the XF curve with standard vinyl or does it have to be DVS? I like to cut with standard vinyl scratch tools, as well as DVS control vinyl?

Yes you can. The crossfader reverse will work when using vinyl. Same goes for the fader curve settings.

My left hand is my dominant and my hand and right hand is my non dominant hand so would hamster style be a good technique for me
