What happens if you have moved house, do not no if your new house has had its phone connected in the past, tried every phonejack in the house and still have no phone, contacted you're provided who is saying the same thing you are to connect you're landline phone & still have no phone... so you contact them again and again ang again?

You're stuffed unless you have a group of cordless handsets if you have old fashioned ones in which all are plugged into separate phone lines via copper wire you can only use the one near the broadband box unless you have some very long cables to plug it into . Same happening here in UK and all over.
