I still play WOT but Warthunder is way more fun and historical with modern tanks though the grind can be difficult. No BS non historical Chinese OP tanks with rockets coming out of thier ass in this game.

The learning curve is so big in War Thunder! Especially for Air Realistic Battles. I love rotating between war thunder and world of tanks because they are offer such different experiences! I totally agree that getting a kill in WT is very satisfying!

i liked watching you guys play the top tier, however next time you guys will want to set key binds to change to thermal sights, and use your laser range finder. also look into what ammo you are useing, each ammo type is for different situations. squad marker key bind will also help allot too! cheers

Welcome to the real mans tank/plane/ship game lol. Actual angling of armor, round size, volumetric, type of round and filler load, etc all matter. Also don't ignore your AA vehicles. Considering the knowledge gaps I'm assuming no one on this stream actually grinded out their lines for the vehicles played though...

This two games about tanks. However, this two games like the opposite sides of a cliff. WoT is completely an arcade game and very far from reality. On the other hand, WT is based on reality of tanks, planes and ships. This both games are very very different so if you regular player one of the this two games, it will take a long time for you to get used to it. But in my opinion, WT is much better than WoT. Yes, sometimes its drove me crazy but never ever like WoTs did to me.

The problem is that War Thunder's realism drops off when you get to the more modern tanks, because a lot of the armor values are still classified. And also, as much as people meme about "Russian bias", there really is Russian bias in the treatment of top-tier tanks.

Tried wt long time ago, had very hard time running the game even at absolute skeleton settings. The thing that drove me away aside from the infuriating grind that makes wot look like a cakewalk at times was spawn killing and rampant cheating. Many times both at once. Being spawn killed ultimately did me in. Once in a while isn't a probably, it happens a lot, but the degree it was happening was insane. It killed the game for me, last couple weeks I'd have battles where I managed to bring in 5 tanks, one would get out of spawn an survive for 2-3 minutes, the rest I was dead the moment the immunity field went down. Every battle dam near for couple weeks straight, to such a severity I quite. I've played wot for 10yrs so I have tolerance to shenanigan's of a bad nature but it was so bad. I've thought about returning but my pc is far too old an is slowly dying so it's out of the question for now.

Normally WT is miles better game than WoT but unfortunately problem with WT is, as you can all clearly see, allowing the planes to mix with tanks! You can do a few kills and soon there is "revenge" bomber and that's it, there is almost no way for tanks to defend themselves against planes, even the Anti Air tanks can't do that much if planes play properly. Mixing planes with tanks makes this game really frustrating and unplayable for longer sessions. Good content tho. 👍🏼

As far as I remember Gaijin wants to merge tanks, aircrafts, navy ships into one game, instead of three separate like Wargaming, so there always will be some missperfections in balance

when I left wot for war thunder planes were a problem. Out of pure spite and hate for the planes I jumped into one and become an above average pilot. Many years later I fly planes almost exclusively and kill other planes in tank battles as my thing. Still don't like doing bombing runs because it's such a smooth brain activity would much rather be a slick fighter pilot taking out cas

Game is not selling IS-7 and E-100 for $2,000. Players are, on player marketplace. It is a rare vehicle. It is not even that great since it faces a lot of modern vehicles.
