4 X 7 foot U haul trailer Review

Whats going on yall Rob here. recently I had to rent a Uhaul trailer. Well I didn't have to rent t he trailer I rented the uhaul trailer because I was to lazy to take the seats out of my chevy Astro van. Renting the Uhaul 4X7 foot trailer was really convenient. it was only 15 bucks to rent and 8 dollars for the insurance. I rented this to move a stove. There is a Uhaul like 15 minutes from my house so I rented this 4 x 7 uhaul trailer just to move the stove. I would definitely rent the 4 x 7 u haul trailer if I had to move anything again,

If you're hauling gravel you can fill up to that line. If you go over that amount your trailer will be overloaded.

Tailgate is weird, so it’s like a ramp but not exactly.. was trying to save $10 and use my own loading ramps but doesn’t look like they’ll work on this

I have moves a large air compressor and a tractor in these. I would like to but one 2 reasons I dont. 1 uhaul does not sell them and 2 if I but a trailer in Chicago ill have to pay for ANOTHER plate sticker lol

Can you put a riding lawn mower on it? Just an average riding lawn mower.

These require a 4-pin connector. A good option is installing a plug-and-play wire harness for your specific vehicle, for about $50 and maybe 30+ minutes to install, no spicing needed. The standard wire harnesses need a converter for older vehicles, costing ~25, and require splicing.

I had the same philosophy when i rented a 4x9, not sure what exactly im covered for , and for $8 extra insurance....better safe than sorry.

Did it require lighting I don't have a trailer wiring harness on my car and I believe as long as your lights aren't obstructed by the cargo you don't need lights for day use?

Yes, you'll need lights like any vehicle or extension (trailer in this case) of the vehicle, turn signals and stop signal, during the day.

Yeah I don't think UHaul will let you rent any trailer without a wiring harness iirc.
