Please don't change the way you do your eyes! You've found the perfect way to accent your eye shape and I just love it! You look so classic whether you are going for the casual look or the dressy look - your lid shading is perfect!

I agree, I learned how to like my eye shape (slightly hooded too) with eyeshadow from Mandy. Before, all I did was light eyeliners to make them pop.

Great idea for a video, MandyLea! we need to be reminded to use what we have instead of moving onto the new products. Regarding your eye looks, If it isn't broke, don't fix it...fits your eye applications. I think your eye looks are beautiful and I don't tire of seeing you apply the looks. How sweet to volunteer at your daughter's class-they will think you are the prettiest mom ever!

I think your skill and looks, esp your eye looks, are impeccable. Please dont change a thing. Its true that as we get older, the bold, flashy looks dont work anymore. There are plenty of KZbinrs that do them, we can find them anywhere. And i prefer warm tones too.

I'm a warm-tone fan, too. After noticing that my Natasha Denona Glam palette made my green eyes look dead, I've vowed to use only palettes that bring out the green. (My DIL is thrilled with the gifted Glam palette...)

I love warm tone eyeshadows, but on the lighter side, if that makes sense. I am very fair with neutral a undertone. I'm not crazy about dark orange or yellow tones, though. I also love neutrals, that lean a little on the warmer side. I love the way you do your eyeshadow, Mandy!!😊

You might want to try to moisturize the undereye area and let it sit while you put on your foundation, etc. Then use as little concealer as you need, then dab with a damp sponge to get off any excess. That works for me.

I'm working on cleaning up my bathroom counter and somebody said to me, "And maybe throw some of the makeup away?" and I was like, "What?", and they said, "Because it's no good after six months," and I said, "..Uh...What? It's fine." Unless it smells, looks, or tastes funny (mint lip balms seem to have a very short life span), I don't pay much attention to makeup expiration, and most of my mascaras dry out and get tossed before then, anyhow.

Elf Hydrating Camo Concealer and Catrice True Skin High Cover Concealer are my holy grail concealers. Both are $7 and so, so good! I really like the Tower 28 mascara, but it dries out too quickly for $20...I get Elf Lash N Roll or Elf Lash XTNDR now instead. I found a Laura Gellar Balance N Bronze bronzer in Fair a couple of weeks ago in an old travel bag and I'm so glad I found it! It's my perfect bronzer for spring! And Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso has been in my collection for so, so long and I still love it. As a matter of fact, I'm wearing it today topped with the LYS cream blush in Humble because I love layering blushes. So yes, dig out the old favs because it's fun and surprising! :)

If you don't already have it, Mario's first Master Mattes pallet is actually warm. I have white hair and my complection has lightened from medium neutral to light cool. Cool makeup now looks best on me. I use the Dior Backstage Face And Body in the original formula.

I actually would loke to see your current technique broken down more especially with color. I love colorful eyeshadow but I struggle to rein it in. I think if I did my eyeshadow with colorful shades more similarly to how you do it, ot would help. I'm sure I could go look up older videos from your 7 looks, 1 palette videos, but I never do. I kind of miss those. There is so little content on Sydney Grace's palettes and I know you love them. I know 7 looks is time consuming but it's what originally brought me to your channel. 3 or 4 looks with 1 palette would be satisfactory too. And / or a tutorial on your approach to applying colorful eyeshadow.

I never tire of your eyeshadow technique. I like the softer eyeshadow looks because I find that is what flatters me as well. I can appreciate the artistry and talent of creators that do bold and colorful eye looks but they are looks that I am never going to redo on myself because they look terrible. I say keep doing what you are doing, this is your channel. There are boatloads of others that do different techniques for those seeking that sort of content.

Great video 👍👍 All my makeup and lip products and brushes that still had makeup in them has sit for over 3 years now since covid hit in 2020 I had such a hard time mentally with it but long story short everything I have needs replaced my lip products were horrible I had to throw them in the trash but I still have palettes that I look at and I know to not put them on my eyes but I just can't seem to let them go ahhh. I wish I would have at least cleaned my brushes out now I'm so mad at myself for that. I just been looking up videos how to disinfect and sanitize makeup brushes thoroughly. And looking at affordable options to buy some more. I'm sending out love to everyone 💙💛❤💚💜

That's so funny about the girls being distracted by your eye shadow. When my youngest was in kindergarten, I went in weekly to help. The girls and the teacher would comment on my eye shadow......but there was a boy who was enthralled with my braces. He would just stare at my mouth any time I talked, even leaning in sometimes for a better look. His fascination was so funny. Maybe he thought only kids could get braces. 😂

I’m a creature of habit Mandy…I do my eye makeup to what looks good on me, I love the way you do yours which is just about the same way I do mine😊Also, the ELF hydrating concealer was just never good for me, I tried both and found them to be so drying on my under eyes..That’s why I’ve just decided I can’t really use drugstore concealers, other than the NYX serum concealer..And I have to be careful with it..Higher end concealers have just became my go to, as I age!
