I didn't have Biology in my school. Regretting the choice I made, and currently doing Engineering. Can I pursue medicine in USA after Engg if i take a premed course and then appear for MCAT? Or even for the school students, without Bio in 12th, can they take up a premed course and then appear for MCAT for MD Admissions.

Indian MBBS isn't valid in US. In order to MD there you need to first take a bachelor's degree like bsc biotechnology or bsc microbiology from either India or US. then you can directly apply to MD program in US. There is no such thing as MBBS in US. Hope you got it 🤗

@Tarani J heyy , its obvious you are misguided in this regard. My sister studies medicine in US . Indian MBBS isn't valid over there. You can go to other countries like Canada and NZ where it is valid but not in US. If what you said would've been true , i would have done it rightaway but unfortunately thats not.

The people over here are deviating from the question. The fact is that you can do ms after mbbs. Like ms in biomedical engineering is a great field after mbbs. Many researchers are there who have done both mbbs and ms.

@Tarani J hey i thought you were talking about mbbs in US , yes i know USMLE is an examination which can be given to obtain residency . But it's not affordable for every Indian aspirant. I was talking about a more affordable way to become a doctor in US.
