Funny how the pages turn, and leave us in between....one of my all time favorite lyrics. Always think of it when I look back at pictures of them in that era. Their first concert in Japan was 45 yrs ago last week! I saw them there twice. 1979. Beautiful song that doesn't get much attention. Happy Sunday! Starting our 6th week of lockdown! May it all end soon!

@@pashminahearthead1093 Other than being very sick, and having a lot of surgery when I was about 5, I seldom if ever had a bad day. I was very lucky, everything just worked. Certainly 75-85 were spectacular years. I have a whole mountain of Queen things. I had some ticket stubs, and a lot of passes, from Queen shows, and other bands we saw at different times. A lot of those years, passes were still stuck on your clothes. I used to go home, peel them off, stick them on something else, throw them in a box. When I came home from the UK, after a few years of school, spring of 81, they were in the same place I always kept all of them. A rosewood box my grandmother had given me. It was packed in with a larger box of books that I wanted to take home. Unfortunately, two of my boxes never made it back. I stopped saving them after that. All of my other things made it back. I only had a few ticket stubs/passes left at home, from when I was really young. Shows I went to when I was 10-15. Spent 80s with grad school, and internships all over the place. Of course, Queen didn't play after 86. I did see the Cross some, in Germany. About the time Freddie passed away, my mom, who was a great archivist, as far as paper, or fabric went, packed all of my queen things up. Including many pictures thru the years. For 20 years, they were packed up, in a heat, humidity controlled storeroom at my parents. The past 10, at a friend's, who has an antiques store in the same situation. Haven't looked at them in 30 years. Of course, I had a few worn out tees thru the years, some things I just didn't bother to save. There is a lot left. Think there might even be some of the clothes I wore to their shows. I ve thought of unpacking them in the past few years, but just haven't done it. Maybe one of these days! Often wondered where the ticket stubs, and passes wound up. Probably in a landfill somewhere. Hope your days are going well. Very tired of stay at home, lockdown!👑👑👑🎹🎤🎸🥁😎❗

@@anneharris606 Wow' indeed you are blessed most of your life!...I have read quite a lot of stories of people sharing their Queen concert moments but your's just one of a kind!...Your experience is every Queen enthusiast's dream!...So impressive that you still kept most of the Queen concert stuffs'....Unfortunate that there were some you've lost :-(....But since it's lockdown you might consider looking for it again?Maybe this video is a sign the universe is suggesting you to try look for it again? ....It may have been just misplaced and lying somewhere in a forgotten or unexplored parts of your house?...Hope you still be able to find it'those are treasures'...The thought of it ending up in a landfill makes me feel like crying!...Thank you so much for sharing a part of your wonderful Queen moment's Im so grateful'and happy❤...You take care as well!...Have a good one😗

@@pashminahearthead1093 The only things I know of that were lost were ticket stubs, and passes. The box of books that were lost were just books, nothing about Queen. Usually, tees and things, I had a few just alike. Wasn't as much merch in those days. I have so many things that packed up, they wouldn't go in any SUV. It took a friend's very large Ford pickup 2 trips to move everything 25 miles from my parents old house to my friends. Of course, it took extra space because of the way my mom had packed it. After all these years, I m not sure what I have. Looking back, I was just fortunate. Right age, right time, people involved in the music industry in my family, and my roommate's. I heard of them first in 1972. The newstands here got Melody Maker, although it was about a month late. I listened to everything. My mom loved all kinds of music, listened to a broad spectrum. my dad listened to country. By the time I was 12, had learned piano, guitar, violin, Oboe, clarinet. Not to say I was a prodigy. I listened to David Bowie, Yes, Led Zeppelin, Jethro Tull, James Taylor, the eagles. My record company LA cousin, who was 24 yrs older than I, saw them in England in 73. She said you are going to love them. I did! As far as great bands,just a great time to be young, you can't beat being born 59-65. Had great fashion then too. I have listened to them for over 3/4 of my life! I m so bored lately, maybe I should go look thru things. At least all the pics. First few weeks of stay home orders, everyone pretty good with it. This is the 6th week, everyone has started riding around in their cars, going nowhere, just to be out of the house! By the way, Rog and Freddie always had very good pictures. They were so good that I assumed they looked better in pics than in person. Of the bands I had seen, some did, due to gifted photographers. Imagine my shock the first time I saw them close up, and they looked about 💯 times better than their pictures! 👑🥁😎
