It's a brand new year and it's killing me that I haven't been able to make any cards yet. I hate being sick. I will definitely be reviewing this video again when I am a bit stronger. My sister has cancer again and a friend has breast cancer. It seems like cancer is just everywhere! It took my brother with about a 5 week warning a couple years ago. I hope you're feeling better. Our house is just on the tail end of Influenza and Covid. We've been super careful since Covid first showed up because I have an immune disorder but I'm still amazed we kept it out of our home this long! I tell you what, I hope to never be this sick ever again! I'm almost 54 and don't remember ever feeling this awful!

@@angelaf5040 it just seems like it won't go away. My grandkids will be here for the weekend for a funeral. I need to be better. I have lost everyone who is related aside from my kids. All from either Cancer and heart issues. It really helps keep me motivated to make as many cards as possible.

@@Cards4Cancer Same here. I have my sister and my 2 kids and that's it. I lost my mama 2 years ago in Feb to Covid complications but everyone else either heart attacks or cancer. Making cards helps me escape from all this. There were 6 in my family and I'm the baby. My sister is 18 yrs older than me so she was gone from home by the time I was born. I wish I hadn't been the youngest, I knew at some point I might be alone but its much harder than I ever expected. It sounds immature by I feel like an orphan. I don't think we're ever ready to be in this world alone like this, especially if you come from a bigger family. I'm very sorry for your losses. Its most unfair.

This is not the same ephemera that's in my kit. Same type but much smaller images. 🤔 It's easier with larger pieces. I'm donating these for older adults.. in hospitals, long term care, etc. I think more cards are made for kids because they're runner to make but everyone, especially those who are alone too much need to know they're thought of too 😉 Nice cards Jess!
