"Shifter" was not what I saw when you first pointed at it on the eraser board. My immediate thought was,'I'm not sure where he'd install one in that little car'. My second thought was' well! It'd sure be a new spin on "business" coupe!😅 You set me straight when you said it out loud, Chad. Me and my imagination sometimes! Lol!

Some people will never know what it's like to build it from the ground up. When you put your blood sweat and tears into a car or anything for that matter it becomes a piece of you. Every busted knuckle or smashed thumb. Every time you get crap in your eyes from falling rust. Every time you have to just find a way to make it happen. I used to be a backyard mechanic but I am too old to do it anymore. Watching you makes me feel like a little bit of that car is mine too. Thank you so much!

Slow but steady wins the race!!! Awesome to see progress, love watching you work and laugh and not take yourself too seriously. That's the way we work and enjoy our day even if the work is not easy or enjoyable. You make us laugh along with your successes and failures, but you don't quit and keep making progress despite how much it fights you. Also noticing that you are getting more ads, so I hope that's paying off for you. Hope your knee is feeling better, glad you don't need surgery!!

chad good to see awesome fabrication. i whish i could do the fabrication you do.i have a hobart 140 good for small stuff and body work. that altered muffler was ahomer simpson but oh well? we always abuse our bodies but thats how us guys ignore problems. the older we get things slow down and we are we get sort of like lockjaw "the old chevy you drove out of the woods! that is the best one.i have never seen what you did with that old beast. cant wait till next time. take care of your self my friend.

Nothing more relaxing after work, than watching you work. When you have a tight fit with a belt, go tensioner! most tensioners mount with a single bolt and if you had accessory bolts on your heads like later heads, they can be bolted right into one of those holes. If you route it right and good measurements you can often use a single tensioner for 2 belts (not recommended).

Well sir we have one person revamping an automobile that went down an assembly line eighty four years ago assembled by thousands of people with thousands of parts and it took a whole long less time to assemble that car when it was new not to mention the support activity of what goes into manufacturing a product. Couple that up with the modification and fabrication and it sure takes time to finish the job. But you will get it finished and you will enjoy the vehicle and of course when you do not have a enormous budget it takes a while to "use what ya got". It does show people that this work can be extensive both in time and expense. Been following along and it will be interesting to see the car finished. And I feel your pain lying on your back doing exhaust work as I have done a few of those jobs for myself, and when I can afford it will take the vehicle to a muffler. But the downside is that the fellow that does the muffler work has to be someone who I will have confidence in that will do the work that will last, and if I have an issue with that will just do the pie cuts just like you as I do not have a bender.
