They're actually quite similar to the way these words are pronounced in French.

It's because both English and Turkish took most of their loanwords from French. Around 55% of ALL English words are French.

@@TSGC16 yes and a decent amount of Turkish words originate from French as well.

This is the plus point of learning Turkish. Even there are many Turkish word that are found in my native language. Like Baburchi which mean chef. I just can't make a sentence by using word. Mean struggle to structure word.

to be honest turkish languge is not pure like every people thinks is mixing or we can say they take from many other country words .english france kurdish and arabic and they most people they think lahm bajen and pastirtam is kind like pizza and raw meat but this is arminian even baklawa is creek dolma is arabic kabab is syriak or Aramia
@berkayberano9922
@berkayberano9922 Жыл бұрын
Totally wrong😂 Turkish doesn’t contain kurdish words. Kurdish word are mostly iranian and arabic mixed. Türkiye has more than 617.000 turkic origin words where less than 20.000 are foreign loan words. Baklava is Ottoman Turkish not greek. Dolma is Turkish meaning «Stuffed» Lahm majoun (Arabic) Lahmacun (Turkish) the name is arabic after Ottoman’s chosed to call the dish and were invented in Ottoman kitchen known as turkish pizza. The name Kebab derives from persian but the dish it self is invented in Ottoman kitchen. Not syrian lol… Don’t spread BS about a topic you don’t have information about lad.
