40 live U2 cover by 40 The Band Local Ground Sinulog 2017

January 14, 2017: Cebu rock icons 40 The Band play a cover of U2's closing song in their 1983 album "War". The band actually named themselves after this song so it was only fitting they played it for perhaps the first time in decades. This was from the Local Ground Sinulog Series 2017 in Rica's Cafe. This features Troy on vocals, Anot on guitars, Lyndon on bass, and Roy on drums. The great Ompong fills in for Elmo on keyboards! Over 30 years since the band forms, they have returned to their roots and played the song which they named themselves after!
