I was born in 2005 and experienced all of those old intros and movies, usually every movie had it, even in school which I doubt was held too often in the 80s and 90s. It also helps to have parents that also appreciate these movies and not the new stuff. I feel like I was born in the perfect time to experience the good old as a kid and growing up with more high tech to prepare for the future :).

I will say the sense of community came from the early WASP settlers and then later the Scots-Irish that settled down south. The people who moved out west to the big cities wanted to get away from that and thusly left it behind. Tho I will be real, that’s the more of the case for any big city. But it’s especially bad on the west coast. I’d say even NYC has more community than places like LA.
