My last board was 9'-8" long 50 years ago! I rode Malibu pre-Gidget... this is the future of surfing, the future is HERE.

Man good job, your foiling is looking great. I have a question for pumping. So far on my lake using the 1150 +460 rear, axis short fuse the max time i have been able to pump for is 48 seconds, and my legs are completely shot. I average around 30 seconds or so before i really start to tire out. It looks like pumping back on the wave is a breeze to you, is pumping different on the ocean compared to the lake or anything from the salt water? I doubt i could even pump with an 899 honestly. Or is this just something i really need to spend time building up? I am 6'3 190lbs.

Fresh water is less dense and provides slightly less lift. But in the surf it’s rare to pump more then 30s as your back into a wave pretty quick and gathering your breath back. Your on the right gear to break a minute. Running will help technique and focus on breathing will all help

Cool video. I noticed you have the Power Carbon High Modulus mast in this video. Other KZbinrs have liked it with larger front wings like the 1099 or 1310. Do you feel a noticeable difference when using the Power Carbon HM vs Aluminum with a smaller front wing like the ART 899? Is it worth the extra cost? Thanks for any feedback!

I personally definitely feel the difference right down to the smaller wings. I would suggest most people do but it’s best to test one out and see what you think. Control and response time of what’s happening under your feet is super important
