If you read about news in the Chinese community Genshin developing UGC (User Generated Content), the permanent games isn't gonna just Windtrace, if they succesful developing that UGC system, honestly is gonna be interesting

But you understand what's the point right. If they make it permanent. It's novelty is gone. Only those who wanna play it will play it and even if they wanna make an event out of it people will not play it unless it has primos. Sometimes we only appreciate some things when they are limited.

​@@ishansharma2463could have a rotation of different old events that people can play switching up every week or so to keep it fresh. Genshin has a lot of different old event types that can be used. They could also do things like Windtrace but on the GAA or Bottleland or Enkanomiya or the Chasm. Theres a good bit of meat on them bones as far as what Hoyoverse can do if they feel like it.

I feel like the old windtrace was more fun, some friends and I would play a bunch of rounds of windtrace and make additional rules like not hiding in the same places when we play on the same maps and restricting certain blessings. I didn't even bother trying to get a group together to play this because it did not feel as fun to play with the same group of friends repetitively. I only did the runs for rewards and that was it. For those who like it, maybe make this its own separate game.

This. I absolutely adored the older versions of windtrace. It was fun hiding in crazy spots and talking to your teammates. Trying to hide from hunters AND repair machines at the same time? Not so much. This version was more stressful and aggravating to me and I agree that it should be its own seperate thing in the future.

I'm fine with the newest game mode showing up in maybe one out of five games. I didn't enjoy it at all, but if most of the time the game mode was one I did enjoy I'd be okay with the new Rebel playstyle, and would even be willing to do something as Hunter besides walk to the edge of the play area and look away from the action until it's over. Can understand the feel the developers were aiming for, but it really doesn't work for everybody. Not sure if "on all the time" really works for any party game mode, but there should be enough of those enough of the players like to eventually make at least a constant rotation.

I guess I was lucky to get into a team of players that knew what they were doing for all the rounds I did xD I put in the feedback that it would be nice to have the old and new modes be options the next time they bring it back since I did like both versions but I can see why some didn't so would be better if we could choose the modes.

I prefer the old one by a lot, probably because my mind has learned to connect the term "windtrace" with Hide and Seek. This was basically a different game. If they made this event and gave it a different name and we could have both I would have probably enjoyed this one more then I did.

Honestly this one isn't windtrace, the repair gimmick turned windtrace from a hide and seek tag prop hunt mix into a capture the flag that makes no sense, turning into a prop was a disadvantage because you can't dash and they kept all the skills related to finding hidden players or running away. Not saying it's absolute ass but they should've kept both modes separated.
