Is this a new top of the key tension tour? Noticed the curves. Where did you get this and why the change?

@@stewsmith3536 Nice observation! This is out of my Echelon kit. No real reason for the change, just what was out when I filmed. Most likely from filming a one handed short, which is easier with the bend in the tension tool.

Watching so many of your vodeos and others. Are you lifting up with your pick on the driver pins or key pins?
@LockpickingEngineer4 ай бұрын
@@stewsmith3536 I'm lifting on the key pins, the driver pins are on top of key pins so can't reach them with picks.

@@LockpickingEngineer No more confusion for me now. Some times I think I am making this harder than it is. Thank you

@@stewsmith3536 what do you mean by correction?

Struggling nearly every time inserting my picking tool and consistency locating pins to push up. Any idea what I am doing wrong? Even on the clear practice lock some times in which multiple pins seem to move up

@stewsmith3536 my initial thoughts are if you're having trouble location the pins, it might be because you aren't using enough tension. For the lifting multiple pins, that could be because you aren't squarely on the pin, the pick is to large at the end, or your pick is to close to the key pins so you might need a different pick or changing where you insert your pick into the keyway.

@stewsmith3536 I just uploaded a video for next Tuesday (Aug 27) that is a video for how to choose a tension tool. Hope it helps!!!
