Thanks for that video - I'm using most of this tactics, especially with V-Trigger, which is for me one of the amazing tools Nash haves, but this tutorial will be useful for learning a bit more of Nash. Amazing tips on Nash. I just ed picked him up. Also, a little food for thought, if Guile uses a V-Skill enhanced Sonic Boom, if you hit it with your sonic boom, then you can absorb it with V-Skill.

Two questions... How do you handle jump ins that are directly over head, the ones spaced as ambiguous cross ups? EX SS sometimes works but I find myself being forced to guess which way to block more often than not How to you handle people who turtle very well, especially those with non ex reversals? They usually seem to dp out at the right time, but when they don't, they catch all my overhead attempts and see my throws coming. And any meter spent trying to keep pressure up feels wasted
@LiangHuBBB8 жыл бұрын
Compared to SF4 most jump ins ( ambiguous cross ups ) can be seen on time whether it will hit you in front or not. In SF4 it was sometimes rly difficult to notice these on time whether it's a cross up or not, but that's not the case anymore with jump ins in SF5. I would just block in this case or LP them out of the air + dash in. Vs players who turtle just full zone them with SBs and chip them out with well spaced MK SS and MSs. Always follow your HP SB to keep the pressure on and when they jump in AA them / when they don't jump in go for LP or cr. MP just to check whether you can get a hit confirm. You just have to outplay them by being more patient. Spending meter on EX SBs is a good use to keep the pressure on. Feel free to follow my CFN Nash replays on PS4, my win rate with Nash is 80%+ vs any gold and platinum player, there is a lot of useful stuff you can see vs defensive players. Thanks for watching.

I got a big question. I just started playing after CE came out. What is all the season 5 tech, no 3 frame🤔, how do we beat Sagat, Cammy, Bison, Abigail, all the usual suspects 🤷😂

Do any of these tips apply to the more recent version of SFV? Or was anything changed? I know this is vanilla SFV, so no V trigger II or V skill II. But that asides, do these tips still apply?

Been playing Nash since he first came out in the beta and there's a lot of good stuff I haven't seen yet. Great video, got any tips for the Nash vs Laura match up? My personal hardest match up in the game. Get knocked down once annnnnnd game over. Can only run so long. :(
@LiangHuBBB8 жыл бұрын
You can jab her out of MP Bolt, Hp Bolt, Ex Bolt and command grab. Go for HP CC vs her dashes and try to throw SB from a safe range when she has meter. Keeping her out and blocking her EX elbow ( can be punished with a full combo ) is the key. Jab her out of the air for dashing ins. LP elbow is -2 on block, after block try to jab or neutral jump, many Laura players tend to do her command throw afterwards. Her overhead move is also punishable. When you get knocked down, try to v-reversal ( watch out for her EX command throw vs quick rise ). I can usually keep her out long time enough to have the advantage. But I gotta say Laura and R.Mika are Nash worst match ups from my experience, so don't worry too much, if you have trouble. I am working on a character match up guide for Nash these days, so stay tuned.

Best video i have ever seen bout Naaaash thank you lianghubbb Please one question. How do you deal with Bison and Necalli good players ??
@LiangHuBBB8 жыл бұрын
Thanks, stomp and his flying glowing hand can be dodged with bazooka knee and then sweep Bison. You can also cr.MP AA these with the right timing, but for more damage I would actually go for the sweep. Most of Bison's strings are strong, so try to either keep blocking or v-reversal. On Bison's wakeup Nash has the advantage. Both match ups are kinda difficult to explain - where Nash can actually find gaps to punish them because most of the stuff Bison and Necalli players are doing is pretty safe on block which is why you have to open them up. I am working on more Nash guides in future, so I will trying to give out some more info about specific Nash match ups. You can also check SRK forum Nash section, there is lots of useful stuff.
@hany4338 жыл бұрын
+LiangHuBBB thanks, you really helped me to improve my Nash :) Btw vs bison i found most of the players hit cr mp after double knee press which is negative on block What im doing is I press HP to crush counter him and it works with me 70% of the time.

What's the purpose of using b.mk in your combos? Will s.mp not hit or what?
@LiangHuBBB8 жыл бұрын
While st. MP has the better range after jp. forward HP or neutral jp. MK, cr. MP, st. MP won't connect with the sonic boom because the push back is too far. Back MK does connect with the sonic boom and the damage output is the same. In some of the shown combos st. MP would have worked, but I am more used to back MK.

@Subject188 жыл бұрын
So would you say cr.mp or st.lp is the best aa without meter?
@LiangHuBBB8 жыл бұрын
Yes. After cr. MP you can always follow up with either MS, SB or dash back / forward depending on the situation & playstyle of your opponent. Dashing forward just doing a LP to check what the other player is doing / or hitting him out of the air for another dashing under will let Nash control the pace of the match. Nash walkspeed is rly slow, that's why dashing for proper spacing / footsies is rly important as a Nash player. I have seen Infiltration using bazooka knee very often as AA, but I am not a fan of this.

@LiangHuBBB8 жыл бұрын
Compared to some other SFV characters Nash learning curve is a bit higher indeed. But you should def. give him a try. He is rly fun to play. The only character I would discourage a new player learning atm is Guile because he is way too advanced IMO.
