I don’t understand why these predators say “I was only meeting up to tell her this was wrong and she shouldn’t be doing this” the simplest and most responsible way to do that is to send it in a message and immediately block the child as soon as they say they’re under 18. It’s that simple. You don’t go and meet up with someone’s child to “talk” to them and tell them it’s not safe. The only correct way to respond when someone tells you they’re a minor is to block them. That’s it. These guys act like they’re saints when really it just makes them look worse. Why would a grown man need to meet up with a 14 year old to tell her what she’s doing isn’t safe? Even just meeting up with a child online is illegal. If you’re gonna do something that stupid, at least own up to it. You just make yourself look worse trying to justify it and deny it.

My youngest daughter, when she was about 12-15 was going behind my back at grandma’s on her iPad and go on chat sites that were supposed to be for kids, she had been chatting sexually to a few male adults. We took both the kids and the iPad to the cops for some education. At home, we didn’t have that problem as we had 1 computer in the living room and they were supervised for homework, utube or music. Just so we’re clear what I survived was 5 years from a sibling, not a stranger
