I'm really enjoying listening to your story, I like that you don't hold back, you're honest, and you're just a regular Joe talking about his life. I'm really surprised by how quickly you're able to think about old stories to tell, I don't think I could come up with all those stories from my past, haha.

Sorry for the long comment, but these two vlogs (so far) have captured the essence of why I've been loving your KZbin presence for seven years now. I just made this channel and NCS/this are the first things I'm making sure are subbed. You're so genuine Tim, and your audience totally understands that compared to other people who do the same thing you do. I started out on NCS but your vlogs are what I really love, just listening to you describe your experiences and finding things I can relate to in them. You provide a unique viewing experience that nobody else on KZbin really does, and I'll always be grateful for those weird, modern moments where it's just me and my monitor late at night, watching your videos. You don't try to impress, you don't put on an overt act, you're just you and that's something that is REALLY valuable on this site, especially today. I am looking forward to more parts of this, more vlogs and LPs in general, and I wish you the best. Thank you for the years of entertainment, really. I wish there was something we could do as viewers that reciprocates that feeling.

I don't know why I'm so intrigued by your life but it's really charming to hear you talk about it and there's humor sprinkled all throughout. You're a great story teller and I'm really glad you made these videos. Also 33:18 lmao. those old home movies were awesome to see. Hearing you talk about the girls you liked makes me think about that thing people talk about like if only we knew how close we were to something maybe we would have pushed harder for it. like maybe that girl did want to see you again. you just never know. anyways thanks a lot for the story I can't wait for the next 'volume'.
@nights27478 жыл бұрын
But I mean you shouldn't regret not pushing the envelope because that was your choice at the time and it's ok. everyone in their life has wondered what if. I think you, as you are now is the best form of Timothy Bishop. I don't know that for fact, but it seems that way. you seem happy and content with how things shook out. you may have never been nintendocaprisun for all we know, and never had all your loving fans who really appreciate you. i mean hell, even my life would be different if I never found your videos. arin mentioned it in an episode of grumps a while back. sometimes success is just learning to be ok with where you are, even if it isn't how you thought it might be. just being happy with your world. finding things that make the daily grind worth it and make you smile. that is true success

There is so much information in these videos that I don't really know what to respond to. So here is a generic one. Nostalgic stuff and it's not even my life. You are pretty good at projecting nostalgia. This reminds me of your older Jealousguy Vlogs. I love it. Not too big of a convention guy myself.

I've lived there pretty much my while life so I can totally picture stuff you talk about like the downtown mall with the Burger King (now closed, sadly). I'm bummed I'll probably never get meet you now that you're in Ohio, but as long as you're making videos I'll be pretty happy. Can't wait for the third (Fourth? Fifth?) part

I'm actually kind of glad this is getting split into three or more parts. They're just really great. Anyway, I never really thought about this before, but moving to another part of the United States is the distance equivalent of moving to another country over here, and I can't imagine leaving everybody behind and moving to another country. Seriously, Ireland is so small that I could move to the exact opposite end of the country and it wouldn't even take eight hours for me to get back where I live now.

I also only got my first job because I had connections (my brother used to work there, and ironically now works there again), and I worked there for a couple years and had a lot of anxiety about whether I could ever get another job on my own if I ever had to. But last September, I actually got offered a better job while I was at my previous job, and I'm much happier knowing that I got that job on my own, especially since I didn't even have to go looking; I was so good they came to me. Also it's full time instead of part time and the pay is a lot better, but the emotional aspect is important too.

Whenever I hear Rain I always think of the Rain and Candle green text story from 4chan about an incestual love relationship, good memories, but man, how do you remember this stuff!? Only childhood memory I can think of is hugging my 3rd grade teacher when I realised I had her again, and I'm only 16 in 11th grade!
@myohel08 жыл бұрын
Huh, Raine like in Final Fantasy 8? Also, I don't remember hearing about the Raine stories. Definitely sounds like it got really rough in the end, especially with you finding about the lie about the cancer. When you were talking about getting a computer, I realized that around that time, it wasn't all too common for people to have computers in their homes. And speaking of things I don't remember hearing about, I also don't remember hearing about the temporary jobs. The insurance job reminds me of the premise of The Stanley Parable before you control the character. The Kelly story. Reminds me of something that happened last year: I met a girl at a party held at my old place. We talked the entire night. We seemed to have a lot in common, and she seemed to really understand me (or maybe she's just showing off how she studied psychology in college, I dunno). After she had left at like 3 in the morning, my roommate said it'd be *awesome* if we dated. And indeed, that's what I thought too. As someone who had never been in a relationship, and as someone who knew way too many people in relationships, I thought this was my chance to be "normal." After all, we really connected. Top it off with how we and some friends met up for food the next morning/afternoon, and we were sitting together. We exchanged numbers. And for a period of time, we texted each other, but she got too busy with life, as did I. And, well... we met up once, but she made it clear she wasn't interested in a relationship (she said it like "I'm not interested in a relationship because I'm busy," without me asking, just me talking about relationships in general). So, nothing happened. And... we stopped talking. I wonder how she's doing. Well, we stopped talking out of the blue for 10 months now, so that'll be awkward.
@Dorgengoa20808 жыл бұрын
Man we are so alike.. Not in the life we've had but in just.. Personality etc. That thing you said about feeling ''Normal'' I understand that on a deep level.. Because i went through something Similar. Had this friend who i had a Crush on, And whenever i was with her or talked with her, I actually Felt normal. Like a normal human being. Like be able to just be A normal human, Talk about embarrassing stuff, Show hunger and pain, Or smile and laugh. And just feel Relaxed in General. Because i suffer from Social Anxiety, and i have ADHD and Asperger Syndrome. But when i was with her.. I just forgot everything.. I was just a normal Human. Wish i could feel that way again. And then The whole thing about not being able to say anyone's name. I get that, I really do. I can say someones name to another person, But i really dislike saying.. Well, for example.. I don't like Saying ''Hey Mike'' to my brother Michael. I just say ''Hey!'' Or something else like that to get their attention. The whole looking in peoples eyes too..

I still talk to a girl I fell in love with in high school on occasion. I never did take any action to start a relationship with her. It really sucks because she eventually told me she used to have a crush on me. So what I'm tellin' everybody here is that you should take chances, take opportunities. OK, this is gonna sound really crazy, but... I saw this video in my subscription box late at night, went to sleep and then woke up because of Tim's voice talking at the 37-minute mark of the video! The strangest thing is, the video was playing on my phone, and my phone was under my stomach for some reason!
@Yan_Alkovic8 жыл бұрын
It's Always the Butler No it was _under_ my stomach, not in it!
@Silentsenior098 жыл бұрын
+Yan Alkovic Sounds like either your phone slid out of your pocket and slid underneath your stomach (assuming you weren't sleeping nude or you were sleeping with pocketed bottoms) or you were doing something with the phone sleepily and somehow your hand holding the phone went near your stomach, and your tossing and turning caused the phone to relocate itself underneath your stomach.
@Yan_Alkovic8 жыл бұрын
***** The amazing thing is, it was neither! I left my phone on the table next to my bed to charge, and I'm 100% certain of what I did right before going to bed. The only logical explanation then is that I was in a form of sleepwalk where I tried to watch a video while I was asleep, which is quite unsettling. The fact that my subconscious doesn't realise the fact that one can't watch a video with their eyes closed is certainly worrisome. Also, why do you have pockets in your pyjamas?
