Saw this in the theater when it first came out. My youngest brother and his now exwife took my sister and I. I was 11 almost 12 and my sister was 15. I still love it to this day...... I bought and still have the 20th Anniversary edition DVD from when it came out, it's a Classic movie.

Why the black stripes? What purpose do they serve here? We were getting them in all the previous years - and they're here again? You represent a major film studio that's supposed to be in the business of video-editing wizardry - but you don't know how to cut basic black stripes? DISLIKE.

I didn't see any black stripes in this clip. So, it must be a malfunction on your computer. Or are you talking about letterboxing stripes on the top and bottom? Those weren't there, either, but having those stripes mean: 1. That your screen isn't wide enough and 2. that you see all of the movie. If you watch a cinema movie on a TV- or computer screen with no letterboxing stripes, it means you're missing details of the movie, pan-and-scan or cropped, it's like half of the movie is gone. So if you don't want those letterboxing stripes, get a better monitor and stop whining.
