Speaking of "breath of fresh air", it was your down to earth sense of humor that led me to subscribe. And making my husband's lunch is a real ego boost. Seems not every significant other of my husbands coworkers care to pack a lunch. That's a level of love and concern for our spouses that not many can experience. Keep doing you, because you are amazing.♥🍱🌯🍝🥤

If you don’t want the high fructose corn syrup for the sauces or even like the Hershey’s syrup for milk grab Heinz simply most of the items with “simply” are much better in that sense

I'm new to your channel and have just watched two of your videos and the last thing I'd say you do is preach to your audience. You are down to earth, speak openly about running a family and relatable. I admire you for looking at ingredients in foods and starting to make some changes. It's hard to stop eating things you have loved for a long time. I eat mostly fruit, vegetables, dairy, meat but also processed snacks which I'm trying to replace with healthier versions. I have a dehydrator that I use to make apple rings, dried fruit etc but also I dehydrate peas, corn and diced carrots from the frozen section and then turn it into powder. I add it to sauces, meatballs etc because you can't taste it and I mainly did it for my dad who refused to eat most fruit and veg. I guess it's the modern form of puree vegetables for sauces. 😊
@bringinguphedricks169 Жыл бұрын
Thank you for this 🥹 I got a dehydrator! So excited to try all of those things. I’m actually the most picky eater in my household so I need to hide veggies in my food 😂😅
@amyrivers4093 Жыл бұрын
@Bringing up Hedricks you are welcome, I'm a picky eater as well. As a child I'd spend hours at the dining table because I didn't want to eat certain things. I didn't like meat at all. I'm so stubborn that in the end after a few hours Mum would allow me to leave the table. 🙂

I live in Canada. My great value ketchup only has : tomato paste, sugar, white vinegar, salt and Seasonings. High fructose corn syrup is in a ton of products in the states I'm not sure why!
@bringinguphedricks169 Жыл бұрын
Right! I don’t understand why they put that crap in everything
@venetaranger8571 Жыл бұрын
High fructose corn syrup drives cravings and that constant wanting of “junk food”. Also, healthcare is primarily a business in the states.

Everyone has their traditional ways of how they prepare meat. Different religions and cultures have a specific way of preparing their meats. I guess people are still learning that human beings are different. It's okay to be different. I have PCOS and I have a type 1 diabetic son. Small steps is what both our endocrinologist talks about. And being realistic about your food options.

Girl check out your local library... Typically they have programs for the kiddos. My daughter loves it! Also our libraries allow you to check out the State Zoo dvd. Once you watch it and return it, you get free tickets to the zoo! Also, check your skating rinks for Toddler Time... The rink will only be open for parents with toddlers and young kids (typically age 4 and under). Just some things that we do/have done in the past.

You’re my internet mama friend and I gotta hear it all lol 💕💕 we just got over the stomach bug and also my oldest turned 5 this weekend 🥲 I’ve been desperately trying to choose healthier things for my kiddos too 😩 baby steps and giving myself grace in the process knowing I’m trying my best. Omg I loved being 26, girl! I’m 34 but I stopped counting after 30 😂 gf you have the same thoughts as me as a mama with young kids lol lots of kids in my girls class are in baseball and softball right now. My kids aren’t in any extracurricular stuff lol in the summer, we’ll probably do swim classes and maaybe piano class for my 5 yr old. Idk it’s Guna be a longgggg summer with the 5, 2.5 yo and 5 month old 😅 looking forward to the next video!!
