Beautiful!!! Average out the number of hours that you worked on it then divide into 4000. This is something that people who don't work with their hands whether it's quilting or woodworking or painting don't understand, when it comes to the price of an object that you spent hundreds of hours on. Plus add all the hours you spent pondering your next move. Then again add the hours it took to fix something you don't like, plus add on the stress and anxiety you felt trying to decide if it was done, or if you should continue working on it. Phew that's a lot, for one person. Please be proud of yourself, person I don't know.

I love it! Especially the maple end finish. Also the stand is brilliant! I have a buddy who's been asking me to make him a Ashtray on a stand for over a year lol. Think I just found my base and stand. Keep the videos coming. I've been doing woodworking on the side for over 40 years, and think your work is on another level.

Fabulous job! What I would have done differently is leave the dark burls inside the hole, because doing so pulls the eye from the dark parts of the tabletop to the stand and gives that area more depth of interest as well.

The clarity looks great and was well done. I personally don’t like the snake look so I wouldn’t spend $5 for it but I’m glad someone will pay the $4k
