Heh.. I got a better sleeper. A 2012 Mazda 6 stationcar with the cultivated 2.2l diesel and a brilliant 6 speed manual. Never did I expect so much driving pleasure in that package. I got the least powerful version. Standard it got 129hp and 340nm. I installed 'Race Chip' s most basic version. Not sure about what it makes.. but the torque is massive. New Mercedes and BMWs with their 2.0l diesel engines can't keep up. Which they can't understand 🙄

To me, this sounds better than the new M3/M4, I really like this creamy straight six sound. It sings and it's not over the top. Also love the fact that some could mistake it for a 320d or something.

Eight years ago, I owned a E91, N54, manual transmission, catless downpipe, Wagner Intercooler, KW v3, limited slip diff, anti-roll bars, 245er tires at the front and a Stage 1+ with nearly the same output. It was a dream car for me. The most people thought max 200hp. It was a sleeper like that and it was fun to drive. At the race track, you where able to race down E92 M3 and on the straight it was faster. Also 296 GPS in an estate. I really miss that car.

I had a raised rev limiter on my e92 335i, it had a stage 3 with full ethanol tune, i reved out 6th gear and estimate it was 310 kmh. 120 kmh felt like walking speed afterwards. it was MAD!

This for me is one of the best bimmers ever made. My personal fave 3 are the f90 m5 (which will never be topped), the e60 m5 for that unholy V10 and this thing. My dad also had one of these and the memories attached to it may put some bias towards it 😅

it was not cold. Oil temps at 80c are not cold. lol most cars only show coolant temps so they think that's what they see here, when in fact it's the oil temps.

Read 80 celsius, which means at least 85 if not 90 celsius on the obd. Manufacturers know high temps scare people, all stock gauges display 5 to 10 celsius degrees lower. Like water temp, you think it’s always 90 degrees flat? It can actually reach 100-105 when hot, but absolutely normal. And the display wouldn’t show because you would be scared.
