The Traction Avant is considered an executive car that was produced by the French manufacturer Citroen from 1934 to 1957. This car pioneered mass production of three revolutionary features that are still in use today. A unitary body with no separate frame, four-wheel independent suspension, and as the name states in French, “Traction Avant” which means front-wheel drive. This is truly a beautiful looking foreign classic car. This particular Citroen was purchased and owned in Portugal in 1935 and babied until 2009 when it was sold and shipped to Miami Fl. La nôtre de 7cv était de 34 et était un modèle B. J'en suis certain puisqu'elle avait encore un toit en moleskine. J'ai mille histoires à raconter de cette Princesse que l'on a gardé 10 ans!

Je crois qu'on la désignait par sept neuf. Remplacée par la onze légère. J'en voyais quelques unes en corse vers les années 50 55. Disparues depuis de la circulation !

@@mino7520 Non. La "sept" (7C) a été fabriquée jusqu'en 1940, et la 11 légère (même carrosserie) depuis 1934 jusqu'à 1957.

Thierry. Je pense que si la 11 légère a été diffusée jusqu'en 1957 et que la fabrication de la sept a été arrêtée en 1940 on peut dire que la 11 légère l'a remplacée , même si elles ont partagé un certain temps d'existence et la même caisse hormis bien sûr que la 11 reprenait le même moteur avec un alésage supérieur. .
