Come and buy a farm in New Zealand... leave ya keys in the car at night and I don't even know where to find a house and yard key, Really enjoy following your day to day life. Regards Kiwi Phil

Wes! Tractor could be smoking from your injectors. Those injectors were notorious for smoking and they are way obsolete. I would recheck your timing, making sure it's supposed to be on TDC. Then I would retime it 4 degrees before TDC. It will help with the slack in your gear train and will clean up the smoke. Just time the IP in direction of rotation so there is no slack. Congrats on getting it going!

Hey Wes, I've really enjoined watching your 4010 rebuild. It was great to see it move under its own steam. It's a shame you have to respond to idiots about protecting your property, I'm sure they'll think twice if there's a gun the other side of the door!!! Thanks so much for your great channel and hope you enjoy your well earned holiday.

Can't wait to see it painted. Theirs something about a nice painted tractor that gives me the fizz. I think tractors like the 4010 that are old and rusty just don't look good. It may run flawless but if it's an eyesore it just turns me off. The 4010 will look awesome once it looks new with the paint job.

Hi Wes, I hope you have a great time on vacation and hopefully nothing happens while your away. Know body should have to worry about there property while they are away ever! I think people are jealous of other, because they can not afford to do what you or others do, so they try to bring you do to there level. Sorry to say they get caught and go to jail, while you have to fix or replace what they stole. Very sad for everyone, because no one wins ever and it takes time to rebuild what is lost.

Hey Wes question for you. I have a John Deere 4620 and when you use the hydraulic outlets it jerks and will blow the couplers out it’s full of oil was wondering if you had any idea on what could be going on.
@wiserguyer6 жыл бұрын
I seen the male coupler check valve not open when connected to the female coupler , it uses a male dimple that push's the check valve open when inserted into the female coupler and It seems the male coupler dimple was worn down and wasn't allowing the check valve to open and not allowing hydraulic oil to flow .

Wes, I have really enjoyed watching you rebuild this guy. Kudos. I do have one question, and please forgive my ignorance. Below the exhaust manifold, is that green part the intake manifold? I noticed a couple of clamps on the end of it. If so, what kind of air filter will you be putting on it, and does it hurt to leave it open like that? Thanks again for all the time you spend on these videos. Take care.
