Looks like the 5080 is confirmed to be 1200. Not as bad as i expected and i still dont believe the 5090 will be 2400 to 2600. Zotac leaked theres by accident at 1800 but looks like it may be 2k+. But we shall see!

Nice setup 20 percent improvement isn't that noticeable so if you were getting 100 fps in the racing game you'll see 120fps. Nah i'd have held off and upgraded when the difference would be atleast 60 percent. For the most part a 4080 will just feel the same as a 4070.

That is true but the iRacing sim is weird to benchmark. It's known for having bad stutters due to low 1%'s. Like you'll have great high fps's for the whole game but there is certain parts of tracks that are extremely intensive and it'll bring down your FPS to the 30-40's when i had my 4070SUPER. Now my lowest 1%'s are about 60-85FPS 1%'s and I don't get stutters anymore. Overall you are correct though, It wasn't a significant upgrade but it should last me for a long time. Not to mention that it will be challenging to get ahold of next gen Nvidia cards.. on top of the outrageous prices that are rumored.

@@louiienation8497 yh i hear you but most pc games will stutter at the start and occasionally in the middle of a game thats just the nature of a pc with windows running in the background and other resources. A pc is not dedicated to gaming like a console. it hurts me to say this but a console will not stutter on fortnite or other games at the start like a pc can. So buying the 4080 to prevent stuttering is not a valid idea its literally just 20% improvement that's all you'll get. I went from a i5 9400f to i7 11700k thought i'd see a big performance difference but it ended up being 6-27% depending on game, i've learnt to leave the upgrade for future market instead of current market to be worth it.
