But how many are willing to pay the price of success
How many are willing to get the fuck out of bed
Instead they hit snooze and lose with their goals unmet
Retreat into distraction hoping that they forget
You threw away another day yup it happened again
It's the same old story, everyone's been through it
Sitting on your ass when you know that you should do it
Procrastinating hard impossible you are not moving
You can get to it tomorrow putting off your self-improvement
But the days keep passing
Every minute slipping falling back you're losing traction
The future's looking like the ugly bottom of a trash bin
The gap is quickly closing from a would-be to has-been
Now's the time, today is your chance
To take another step, to make an advance
You decide if you can or you can't
So will you put the goal to paper then commit the plan?

To make a sacrifice to change up your pace

Stay up all night, wake up early, working through your breaks
The only thing that comes to those who idly wait
