hello! what size propeller? since it varies a lot. my parsun 40 hp came with a 11 1/8x13 propeller and it is not the original parsun. what size do you recommend? Cheerso

hi, it depends on your boat really, and what you use it for - as a generalisation 10 to 14" of pitch (that's the last number so yours is 13" pitch) for that engine will cover most requirements. The lighter the boat and load the steeper the pitch. Hope that helps

the oil to petrol is 50:1

hi, 50:1 is the best ratio, you can run many on 100:1 but we find the best ratio for a long life is 50:1

Hi I know it's abit late I have the same outboard runs good but smokes alot at idle I know it's a 2 stroke but none of my other outboard smokes like this one thanks

hi moe moe, 2 strokes smoke, it isn't a barometer for any problem as a rule. are you running 50:1 ? if so you will get quite a lot of smoke especially at low revs.
