The Iron Hands were the 10th Legion Astartes, stoic warriors determined to purge all weakness within and without. Standing loyal during the Horus Heresy under their Primarch, Ferrus Manus, they have formed close bonds with the Adeptus Mechanicus. This is their tale up to the end of the Horus Heresy.

The flesh is weak, but this video is strong and The Council Approves of it's Machine Spirit. Awesome video, as a collector of the Iron Tenth I really enjoyed this. At the final seminar of the Horus Heresy Weekender last year Tony Cottrell asked for a show of hands on which Astartes characters Forge World should make in the future. When he said Shadrack Meduson all 400 hands went up :)

No shit? thats awesome! I hope in 40k I at least get a damnable character dreadnought for him because he's still "alive" . Hey if B'jorn the Felhand counts as "still alive" all dreadnought pilots count! lol in which case the average age of the Iron hands is probably higher than almost any other chapter because of our affinity for dreadnoughts. Plus game wise they just made them all cheaper points wise so now my all dreadnought list went from a casual- semi competitive list to a decent list, no tourney winner but fun for friday night games with friends where no one is using super meta lists, at least not on purpose.

16:40 Meduson* is on the iron council as a venerable dreadnaught. It doesn't say this anywhere but if you look at the picture of the Iron council from the Clan Raukaan (hardcover edition only) you can clearly see his name emblazoned in much bigger letters right above where his "eyes" would be. and what i mean by saying its bigger is they have names draped all over them, i never understood what that was for except for the grey knights and they wrote daemon names on theirs to keep them banished.

I don't have the book, so I don't know the image... but his name is MedusOn, not MedusAn. So if it says MedusAn, that is more likely a reference to "one who is from Medusa" aka. their home world. Someone from Medusa is Medusan. Shadrak Meduson is spelled differently.

This is good stuff man. I’m in the beginning stages of coming up with a mechanical chaos chapter and iron hands would be perfect. My sertur legion is a chaotic A.I. That destroys any and all flesh it comes across and those who aid in the destruction of flesh will be rewarded as a living machine with sertur as its guide. I’m getting my first miniature which is an imperial knight which I’m making renegade and completely run on this A.I.

As your ship is exiting the Medusan system, scanners detect a new ship that appeared out of nowhere. After a moment, You register new vox transmission eminating from the ship in question: "Good news everyone, we have succesfully reach our attempted destination. In addition, it is my... honour to welcome everyone to the 41st millenia!" The vox lays silent after the transmission for entire minute after the transmission has concluded: "THAMATICA!"

Even with little to work with, good job! I hope that you are well steeped in the lore of the 1st Legion (1st team) when their time comes! There is a lot of secrecy, misinformation, and indirect information about them in other books. I swear that Leman Russ' book seems almost as much about the 1st as the 6th.

Well I covered Clan Raukaan in a separate video, which should give you at least some information. There is also the novel "Wrath of Iron" that I've read personally, and if you use the wikis you can dig up more I'm sure

If I recall correctly, Heresy Era Word Bearers and Ultramarines were the largest legions. I'd reckon it would come down to them on sheer weight of numbers alone, but also because both were very good at what they did, although I see the sons of Ultramar becoming the victors. Damn smurfs.

I would have said Alpha Legion for the ultimate Free for All winners. I mean the Ultradorks couldn't break the Alpha Legion post Heresy either. While the Ultramarines might have been able to beat down anything they faced, they'd never have faced the Alpha Legion. And the Alpha Legion does the Assymetric Warfare thing better than say the Night Lords as their primary rivals so I'd see them coming out on top of that.

Derek Burge I've never seen records of it, but then space marines don't have the same faith/belief system as the rest of the Imperium so they don't really believe in the Imperial Cult either. Some might, but it's not the official chapter religion
