It is interesting to not that the Space Wolves have been revealed to be producing both Primaris and Firstborn marines side by side in March's White Dwarf. So perhaps other chapters are doing the same and the Firstborn haven't been resigned to a slow extinction in the loyalist ranks.

Technically, most chapters were given the means to create Primaris from scratch. So they would be sharing the same heritage as the chapters that recruit them since they would still be from the same worlds they always recruited from.

People hate on the whole Primaris thing, even when I'm willing to give thier old marines an extra wound, etc. But for me, Belisaurius Cawl is one of the most intriguing characters in the setting. Hes fucking awesome, and pulls incredible moves with style and purpose. He's like a 14 foot tall ancient cybernetic James Bond with a "flexible" conscience, and one whom I look forward to reading about.

I actually like The Primaris Marines. They could've been introduced better,I'll admit that but I like the Primaris designs and the fact most Marine's are still Firstborn doesn't make the Firstborn obsolete like some think. They're not all that bad.

In my chapter the Dorn Primaris marines were indoctrinated into their way of thinking not the other way around. Programming them with their culture to avoid a schism in the chapter

I love primaris in terms of the design and elements of the lore, although some points are kinda loopy. I just hope my taccy Bois don't get removed from the game. I'm fine with the lore however

I'll only accept primaris if they make them able to melee better ie death company only able to take 1 chain sword or other melee weapon per 5 guys or if the units could take more upgrades and make them more flexible . Also if they were more unique aesthetically for each unique chapter ie ba sw bt

Well with starters Sanguinius is a PRIMARCH so even if he had the means he would be immediately branded a heretek if he as much as glance at the subject matter and Cawl is also missing several genetic blueprint(many of which is either buried in rubble or destroyed in the fires of war) such as the right half of the God-maker organs, the left half was gifted to the primaris.

Why did you keep mispronouncing Fabius Bile, though? I keep hearing you talking about this "Belasarius Cawl"-man all over the lore bits; that's obviously wrong... isn't it? Ok seriously though: nice one as usual. Must admit I'm still a bit underwhelmed by the lack of lore about the "how" Primaris were made possible, but let's hope GW'll fix that. Damn, even some mention of Cawl by the Emperor would lend weight to the fact he managed the whole thing.
