Nice pick -- I have same padlock in my collection, only with long shackle AND the two original keys -- it's very "cool" little padlock that I was fortunate enough to get from a collector.

What an awesome 40mm padlock. Excellent execution on picking it open. The name of the game is getting the open without the key and non destructively, you achieved both very easily (says me haaaaa). Great picking as always Daz and truthfully a fantastic lock. The keyway and core looks huge in that 40mm Kaba padlock.

Great picking my friend, that´s a very cool padlock, I have one 60mm equal to yours, with no key. Has the Kaba 20 core too, but I picked it yestarday and it get stuck at 45º and the shackle don´t opens. The core don´t go far or come back. Do you gut it? it´s strange that yours don´t stuck and mine does. I will try to pick it clockwise to open the shackle, may be one or two pins fall into others chamber. That really strange that your core got stuck at 45°, with this one I’ve got when its pocked open to the 45° mark the drivers can be seen & pushed but don’t fall into the core. Ive not taken this one apart. I didn’t have a follower to fit. I will probably make something to fit for future locks. They are incredible locks. Have a great week my friend.

@@dazevers Yep, I finally picked it. I had to picked from that position of 45º and at least three pins on the right and one pin on the left falled on gates and are active again. The driver rows pass througt the keyway without problems, but they are chambers that match when the core turns, so double picking ;o))) It´s a shame that this cores are not usual, it would be great to find a kaba 20 with key and change the pins between cores. These are lovely padlocks to collect ;o))

Nice little padlock that kaba Daz, nicely picked aswell. The keys look slightly similar to Banham keys? Are the cylinders similar internally? Stay safe mate. 👍

They are kinda similar, the Kaba 20 is a lot easier to pick. The Banham pins push on each other so you have to pick the loose pin rather than the binding pin. The Kaba’s pick pretty much like any normal lock. 😎👍

Hi m8! Nice lock! Where can I get one? Good video. I'm fairly new well couple of years but I have a lot of interests to spread my time round. I bought the Ingersoll 10 lever with keys and got it open! My best pick yet! I know it's not the hardest thing but it's my personal no1 pick. Love the lock for its build quality and being levers. Hi my friend. 10 lever Ingersoll locks are very tough locks to pick great work. This lock came from Martin_Newton on Twitter. He has a post on there with a few of them for sale. They are wonderful padlocks I really recommend getting one. 😎👍
