Just happened to me.. Same fuse. I checked the harness and it was weighed down on frame just as you said. Doing repair this afternoon. So one year later and still not fixed by the manufacturer. Thanks for posting, saved me time of taking it in. 2 week old tractor.

Mr Denny, you "saved the day" for a LOT of RK25 owners with this well reveiwed delema. Best wishes with your endeavours. Be extra careful & safe . Just came from a funeral where as an associate lost their life in a traject tractor accedent.

Once again your video was of great assistance. I blew a fuse using a small air compressor to pump up a tire on a trailer, using the aux power source (cig lighter) which also kicked out the rear flood lights. Looked and looked for the fuse box! Went to your channel and learned where to find the fuse box AND checked the E/G wire you mentioned; sure enough it was jammed under the main harness - thanks so much for your videos!!

Wow thank you for sharing your experience. You may help someone too by telling us about the aux power source.

Got my RK25 in January. Fuel gauge doesn't work so it ran out of fuel and died. Initially looked into this problem as possibly the cause of the my problem. Interestingly, my fuse panel was installed upside down. I thought it was just the label was weird. But, now that I see yours, I can say that mine is upside down. No other problems. Not sure if the rubbing wire issue was countermeasured before mine was built, but it did look like there was more protective sheathing on mine compared to yours. Thanks for this video and all of your RK25 videos.

Good catch……what did you do to fix it?
@johngersna32632 жыл бұрын
A couple of years ago I bought a used 2007 John Deere 2305 with 400 hrs on it from local Kubota dealer. It looked like it was brand new. After operating it for several hours it did the same thing. I figured that it blew a fuse and it did so I changed the fuse and everything was fine for about 2 weeks. Then it started blowing fuses every 20 minutes. So I got the wiring diagram out and started with the easiest circuit first. The underseat shutoff switch. Long story short (if you'll pardon the pun) I found the tiniest little pinhole in the hot wire. You could barely see it. Apparently, the wires were run the wrong way and when you turned the seat to operate the backhoe it was pinching the hot wire. It actually is taking longer to write this than it took to fix the problem but I haven't had a problem since. I just found your channel today so I'll be checking you guys out. 👍👍👍 P.S. The Kubota dealer had to have known about the issue and never mentioned it. I thought that it was strange that when I was leaving that he said, "You know that there's no warranty after you leave the lot". I won't ever go back there again.

Welcome to the channel. Thank you for sharing your experience. Your share goes to show it can happen on ANY tractor. Your experience at the dealership definitely doesn’t seem like a very good situation.

I've had nothing but problems getting the pto to engage. had this tractor since September and right at 49 hours. The pto is the main gripe for me.

Hey, I bought the RK25 about 2 weeks ago and ran it for about 2 hours and it did the exact same thing. My dealer/service rep said to check that same fuse, and that was the problem. I wasn’t told about the wiring issue though. I will be checking that soon!

@@gatheringrusthobbyfarm8081 yes, I cut one of the tie wraps that had the wire pinched against the firewall and that seemed to relieve the tension. I also sent the dealer your video and discussed it with him, so if I have more trouble, it will be on them. Thanks for your vids and updates!

Already have the trees down ? Do you have the videos? I would like to watch that :)
@gatheringrusthobbyfarm80812 жыл бұрын
Haven’t been able to get the trees down. We had a water line bust in the ground where the trees will land. We are finishing up that project first. Then we will hopefully tackle the trees.

If you are operating anything with a fuse, and it blows repeatedly, it is a direct short to ground. $2 harbor freight meter and some common knowledge can go a long way.
