Wow, this story really touched my heart. It’s amazing how Alexander found a way to heal and help Sophie without trying to control her life. Such a beautiful message about love and redemption!

This story is so moving and beautifully written-it truly highlights how life can bring unexpected connections that help us heal. Alexander's journey from grief to redemption and Sophie's strength and grace are both inspiring. It’s a powerful reminder that love and resilience can shine even in the darkest times. Thank you for sharing this heartwarming story; it left me emotional and hopeful. 💕

This is one of those stories where the more you think back on it, the more you realize how creepy and terrible this story is. Spoilers ahead, so don't read this until after you listen to the story. The narrator keeps referring to Alexander and Elena and ex-husband and ex-wife. They didn't divorce, Elena died... he's a widower not an ex-husband. Next, we find out that Elena had a twin, they appear to have died three months apart. (twin died three months after Elena while giving birth to Sophie) Can't help but wonder why Elena never mentioned to her husband she had a twin sister, instead, he had to find out through a private investigator. The creepy part is that instead of becoming like a father figure, it appears that in the end this 41 y/o man becomes romantically involved with this 18 y/o daughter of his dead wife's twin, aka: his niece.

It's also utterly implausible to think that if a surrogate mother died in childbirth, the baby would end up adopted by an unknown stranger instead of going to the people she was carrying for.

It’s nothing more than a story so you should stop analyzing it and reading into it….just sit back and enjoy the story

@@DM-kc5du yeah, i was wondering the same thing!..not by blood, but now it's uncle and niece together! 😳..🙄..but i guess that could work, cuz they've never actually known each other, and it's not the same bloodline...🙏😇

It doesn't make sense that Elena did not tell her husband about her twin sister. Twins are always close- family knit. This story is not believeable.

I found it creepy like he was stalking her…… And did he end up with his niece who looks identical to his wife. Uck 🤮🤮

Sophie's attitude seems unreasonable and fabricated. Real life stories of adoptees and invariably they are curious about their biological family. But not Sophie?
