4141 Formation Creating Chances & Best Meta Custom Tactics | FC24

For those who are struggling and saying the tactics aren't "meta" enough, its because these kind of setups force you to manually defend more and to play non-linear attacking football. I play in elite and use very similar tactics to the 442 and some of the 3 attacking mid formations he posted before that. These aren't goofy , non META tactics. Paderborns Jonny won the VBL without a single loss and he's still undefeated now in the ECL using 4-4-1-1 with 58 depth. Blue is teaching you how the formations work on a fundamental level. You should focus on that. If you pay attention and don't just skip to the tactics and instructions you will realize that once you understand the game, you can play any formation, at any level. The player profiles are also important. Any setup will only be as good as the players in it and how well they can do the job in their respective positions. Right now, you can build a team for 500k that will do the job. Most of these creators who regurgitate these - direct passing / 71 depth / 4-3-2-1 setups and just say copy/paste you will get more wins.. They are not doing you any favors. You are creating bad habits by letting game playing itself more than you are. Thats why you eventually plateau when you start versing better players and suddenly nothing works anymore. Thats why channels like this are gems. This is basically free coaching. Take it.

Unfortunately this is only true to a certain extent. At high skill rating in elite division and against good opponents in champs there is a high likelihood they’ll be using 71+ depth against you. The only way to counteract that is by using direct passing. This is because the auto press is constantly pushing your opponents back line up whenever possible, giving you little space to work with. Direct passing attempts to negate that by pinning your attackers onto his backline and essentially having them make direct runs in behind, this forces the opponents backline to drop back a little bit so you have some space to work with. In fact, this Jonny you’re talking about used 100 depth in his eUCL final which he ended up winning.

How do you feel about the different buildup styles? Why balanced over Slow buildup or Longball

It's about the timing of players making runs , in long ball or fast build up if u didn't catch the players you maybe find yourself in one v one between your CB or FB vs opponent ST or CM . Slowbuild up they rarely make runs behind the defensive line but it's effective with the 3 CBs formations because u already find the wingers on the wide sidelines prepared to make runs so the slow build up works well with any 3 CBs formation

I tested the custom tactics on both formations and it works far better with the 4141 formation The 433(2) or 433(5) most of the times the LW stay wide beside the opponent RB But i am working on making a different custom tactics for the 433 formations

i prefer 4141 as a full match formation , 4231 is more aggressive in offense , use 4231 if you are down or you are playing against 5 players at the back opponent

Don't worry about it , your stiker and LM and RCM will play behind opponent CDMs , like in the captured goals not the animation
