I was a sexually open person from a young age, exploring my sexuality freely. As i got older and started walking my path, i began to loose interest in sex. Being married it was difficult for my ex to accept this, understandably so. We departed, i continued on my path entering various relationships from time to time with emotional desire leading the way instead. During my last relationship the topic of sex was pivotal, having matured i wasnt willing engage in sex just for the hell of it. But something interesting happened during that time, for the first time I experienced an energetic orgasm. No stimulation, just internal energy.. it was beautiful! I beleive i did carry shame/guilt around sex for a while, and on top of that i started feeling like something was wrong with me for not desiring sex. But these days i feel my sexual energy activate throughout the day, I do not stop it, i dont feel shame or guilt. It doesnt mean i want to out and jump on someone or something(toys). No, the energy is activated and moving through my body throughout the day. I dont have sexual desire anymore, i admire beauty in nature and in others.. a beautiful man still makes me smile and warm! But sex? Nah

This does not mean that just because I feel it, that I understand it. What it means to me is that if I follow that impulse while at the same time objectively observing the consequences it is having on me, then it becomes my lesson. The lesson becomes new experience, and with experience comes new beliefs and when what we believe changes, then we change. And after each cycle of experience from following the impulse has changed us into something which will want to respond differently to the impulse next time based on what we learned previously. And this, to me, is how the One Will is eternally propelling us higher and closer to Him slowly perfecting what we call “our free will” like the hands of the greatest potter making the greatest vase. What we perceive to be our will is actually His instrument. The human will is the only way God can manifest His Will but in order to be capable to instruments to express the unambiguous Will of God, our instruments need to be developed, and we do so by following what is our will, paying attention, and being honest with ourselves.

All I can say is how I do it. I trust in the Lord with all my heart when I trust in myself. I believe that we all have access to an undivided portion(that means the whole thing, literally the whole of God)at our own center. Since that is what I believe, the idea of looking for solutions “out there” is absurd to me. That is what I do not trust. Because in the world “out there” it is the world of appearances, and many of the images, sounds, feelings, smells can be deceiving, as to what the causes are and especially as to where there outcomes will take you. I go to that center in me where my undivided portion of God is. God is everything, or All to me. Therefore everything, or All, is in me. That means that somewhere in my own self lies the perfect response to any and every situation. And so that is where I make my plans to act. This doesn’t guarantee me victory in every situation, in fact it often leads to defeat. But it does guarantee victory eventually overall within the greater battle. The thing is however, when I have gone to myself for inspiration, and I have trusted only myself, then I can be certain that it IS all my lesson and my responsibility. Then there are no scapegoats, nobody else to blame for our failures. That is when we learn from them. That is when we change. That is how God adjusts and refines our will a little at a time until it is ready to perfectly express His Will. People who spend there time telling themselves long stories about how they are always helpless victims in every circumstance of their lives never make any progress until that attitude is completely abandoned. Truth is, nothing outside of God’s Will is possible. So if you trust God, then truthfully it is your own self who it is you trust, rightfully so.

I didn't have any privacy and if I would talk about sexuality my mother would say "shame on you, I don't want to hear you talking about that ever again." Once, we were sitting at the dining table, and I was horny, I didn't know what to do about it, I got angry and I bite the fork, and heard edge of my front teeth crumbling, then I let it lose. I got mentaly ill at that time, I had a severe depression for 15 years. But I better not talk about how I expressed this energy once I left home. After destroying myself through sex I made it to the other side. I am fine now and educating myself on sex and spirituality. Any kind of suppression or repression is true evil.

F**k yes. I was raised Catholic, Catholic school and all, back when the nuns would smack us with rulers. They poured SO MUCH guilt, shame and fear on our little innocent child minds. At 53 I STILL am plagued by those horrible emotions and mental narratives. It’s simply awful. I’ve felt guilty, ashamed and afraid of eternal suffering in a lake of fire my entire life, for EVERYTHING, especially my sexuality. 😢 Sex, masturbation, thoughts about, you name it and I’m a disgusting sinner, an abomination. 🥺 I’ve been awakened the last 10 years and didn’t follow catholic religion after I hit my teens. Bill, you have done wonders for my mental and emotional health and wellbeing. I can NOT thank you enough. I’m a fan of the book of Thomas and your interpretations of the Bible are so beautiful. The guilt, shame and fear is still there asking for my attention but it has less power. Being bisexual as a kid and then having several traumatic bullying experiences I’ve been repressing the other side for 40 years. It would come out when I drank sometimes but then the next day guilt, shame and fear would take over and back into repression and denial etc I would go. Sigh. Anyway, love you to pieces!
