@@queeenosee Simply put, he’s very similar to Forward-another meta harasser. Like Forward’s ability to stun the hunter for a long period of time Batter can also stun and push the hunter back to give him or whoever he is assisting kite longer. In addition, his skill (the cricket balls) can be picked up again and reused if not broken. They waste the hunter’s time and keep them from downing -> more time to decode -> higher chance of survivors winning.

@@alyssacydnyceledonio7269 This is my point of view from someone who has been maining batter since season 16. Batter is easily countereable, if ur in really tight spaces u have no other choice than using rampage; his rampage stun is really short; u need to aim, sometimes if the ball hits the hunter it's just a matter of luck since avoiding the ball is not the big deal. Sometimes the stupidest map obstacles will block ur ball; He gets countered by Wu chang w presence, Violinist, Axe Boy, Galatea, Bonbon, BQ, Undead and many hunters. If u run out of balls ur useless; Batters balloon rescues are not even near to forwards. If u balloon rescue someone who is already ballooneed (rampage) u need to bodyblock yes or yes. If ur already injured, bodyblocking and getting downed could give advantage to the hunter so depending on the situation it's better NOT to rescue. Rescuing from ballooning animation ain't easy either, especially if u face bq, geisha, or any long ability range hunter. Batters ball hit range became bullshit after the nerf so if the hunter is aware ur around getting THAT near to rescue successfully is a whole achievement. Plus the place where the player got downed defines if the batter is going to be able to balloon rescue or not; Batter ain't op and that's why he's not meta.

Coming from another batter who mained him during his initial release and started picking him up again, I'd say he's OP and Meta.
