Hey, great video! I'm sorry to ask, but one issue I'm facing is that these links do not work for me, probably because of the different country, so the Amazon links opens up only to show me the main page of Amazon. Any chance that you could add actual item names, so that I can search for them myself, or check if the links can be somehow amended to work for other countries as well? I'm really interested in the "super quick tripod", but clicking the link gives me nothing, googling the link give me nothing as well and searching "super quick tripod" just gives me a bunch of different items that I cannot confirm if they're the one due to your modifications. Thank you in advance!

for the soldering iron, i love the PINECIL - it's a super minimal, slim soldering iron that runs off usb-c. I usually plug it into a macbook charger because i know that way it has all the power it could need, but it can also run off lower-power usb-c chargers or any power banks that work for laptops or fast-charging.

Pinecel soldering iron from pine64 basically cannot be beat for price and functionality. It's a "smart" soldering iron and can be used kinda wirelessly with a powerful enough powerbank. It changed how I see soldering and made it enjoyable now. Similar to how you feel about the screwdrivers

This. Heard good things about the pinecel. Though it is annoying and expensive to get here in europe. Also the TS80 would be comparable. I have a TS100 which I need an adapter for. But if he is acctually using the ugreen power brick. TS80 already uses USB-C. The TS100 needs an adapter. If you are soldering bigger things than pads on pcbs or wires you might want a bigger soldering station. Yihua is a brand that is cheap and decent. Well loved by hobbyists before the ts100 and ts80 tookover. Weller is nice but a little more pricey.

You bring a welcomed fresh breeze into the 3d printing youtube space. Thank you for that. As for soldering irons, i can recommend the TS-100. Best soldering iron i had (currently my 4th). So excited that you're making more content!! For the soldering iron, I'm a big fan of the Miniware TS100 and the new Miniware TS101, With a proper power adapter they can heat up in an instant, and tips cool down pretty quick for easy swapping during a project. The TS100 has a bigger community since the TS101 is newer, but the TS101 has been a joy to use lately.

A good soldering iron is the TS-100. It’s an open source design, can be used with common laptop chargers, cheap, and takes hakko integrated ceramic heater replacement tips, so the only wear items are replaceable. Extremely fast to heat up. I do think there’s a more recent design with a different name that uses shorter tips but I forget what it’s called.

I'm curious to know if it's because you don't want to be distracted by things that are functional and want to hilight things like natural leather, green plants, or exposed wood. Could it also be just your way of standing out? Having everything match in your way is a way that you and your brain works and what you call home and you can work, sleep, edit etc, in the environment that is customized for you. One of the biggest game changers for soldering, is not using just flux core, but to adding your own flux. Using enough flux is the difference between holding your iron on a wire for 5 minutes and a few seconds. I find flux core rarely does what i need it to on its own, especially as wire gauge increases.

hi, for soldering I recommend thermaltronics tmt-2000. one or two tips are enough, depending on the size. they can be changed in a few seconds. there is no need to adjust the temperature, everything is controlled by a physical quantity. I've been using it for ten years and I've never encountered a situation where it wouldn't be enough (I'm a trainer in the field of manufacturing electronic assemblies according to IPC standards). since it has a minimum of control elements, you can easily spray it white :).
