421,000 Steps Later...?

Nothing reaching a goal and then crushing it by 25%, eh? The goal was 20,000 steps to keep up with the 620,000 steps within this month. I was a little behind and my energy levels maintained, somehow... and that led to 421,000 steps over the past 21 days. Many thanks to my family, friends, and random people, that didn't mock me.

Present Day, 02/26/2024 Day 26 of 29 went well, just 3,872 steps shy of my goal. I needed to get 25,000 steps in yesterday and did not have the time for my Family was more important than a Garmin Challenge. Alas, I am doing my best with the time allowed. The 21,128 steps were difficult and yet, yes, still rewarding.

I thought the challenge would be easy. This month I'v been lagging on my running. New job, gf, kid, sick twice. Busy mixed with a lazy month. It's definitely not been easy. I'll see if I can get it next month. I'll challenge myself a again for fun

Way to go, Jay! Some months are difficult for workouts for life throws us many curve balls... I hope you are able to stay healthy as we merge from February into March :)

Garmin, Fitbit, Samsung, Apple, and many others, have been telling us human to move 10,000 steps daily and I disagree 200% Swimming for 20 minutes and walking for 20 minutes every day sounds like a better plan than just 10K steps. And just moving around five minutes every hour, of which I strive to do, helps immensely too... I've said it before and I plan to keep saying it, "Number mean something, and numbers mean nothing at all."

Thank you. Even just 5,000 steps a day is enough. My daily goal is set to 5K and yesterday I was somehow able to reach 14K 🙏

@@PeterHerget so far I’m at 10,700 steps today. I bought this one in February 2022 after an issue with my non solar in 2020. It’s graphite. Boring, I know, but I like it. 😉 I have to say again I really enjoy your videos. It’s like coming home to a familiar place.

I was able to reach 21,000 steps yesterday and truly needed to do just 4,000 more; alas, I also needed to edit a 51 minute video about the CORSO Pace 3 and the COROS Vertix 2 watches. I have been testing COROS for nearly 14 months now and... yes, I do enjoy their technology very much. As for your graphite gray Solar watch, oh yeah, an excellent choice! I pre-ordered the OnePlus Watch 2.0 about 15 hours ago and I am excited to see what OnePlus does their newest time piece. Funny enough, yes, I still have the OnePlus Watch version 1.0 from 2021 collecting dust in a box. The OnePlus Watch was released back on 26 of April, 2021 and I was able to snag one for around $115.00 on pre-order. The OP Watch2 was $204.00 with a saving of $60.00 via pre-order and recycling an old, broken smartwatch :) You'll have new content to watch in about seven hours - sleep well, eat, laugh, and repeat ;)
