I don't know what Americans follow. The message throughout the Bible is one word: Love. Cover to cover. Preacher's and parishioners don't seem to follow that today. They don't have to answer to me, but they also don't need to make others lives any harder than it has to be, while they spread their hate and corruption of the Word. If love is not the core, maybe you're not following God. Just sayin'.

That's the "go to" for many Christians who seek to justify their bad behavior, but JESUS is God & WE are NOT. There's LOTSA STUFF God is justly entitled to that we are not (jealousy, anger, etc.,). I suppose bc we humans tend to not handle such appropriatly...I truly dont know, but dont care WHY...I simply trust our thrice Holy God & seek to obey him, PERIOD. James 1:19 reads that human anger is not pleasing to the Lord. Scripture also dictates that we clothe & feed foreigners seeking refuge in our land like the ppl in Martha's Vineyard did. Not "...unless you dont see how your going to find the time, space& money & its inconvenient. He simply commands that we do so. That, for instance, isnt (the moern definition of) "woke", its obedience & trusting that God will make a way. Seeking to hang our V.P. is not Christ-like either just bc he refused to sin. Pence proved that he will obey God even if the world is against him & most Trump following evangelist hate him for it, yet applaud & defend the ones who deny the election results & smear feces on the walls of the Capitol...all the while praying for Jesus to side with them. God appoints ALL leaders, not just the ones we approve of. And, so far, all Potus has done good & sinned as well. Amazing how so many evangelicals see Bidens sin but notnTrump's. "Evangelism"; yet ANOTHER word thats bn hijacked and re- defined. I dont blv EVERYTHING the Holy Post does (or I atleast ASSUME they are ok with) e.g: I blv women are NOT to teach over men. But I dont blv EVERY thing ANYone preaches...only Jesus. If you dont like this channel, you can, & should, simply pray for them. swipe on, keep your claws retracted, & lift em up to the Lord as he commands. About abortion: at first I assumed the Holy Post crew is okay with abortion, but as I contin'd to listen I realized they are NOT for abortion AT ALL. They are for finding ways that lead women AWAY from the temptation to get abortion in a loving way; not PLUMMET them into obedience. Remember: We are not fighting flesh..." One more thing: They dont deny that God appoints all nation's leaders, incldg Trump. They just don't believe he's a genuine Christian just bc he says he is (which is glaringly obvious), nor condone his anti-Christ behavior that many other evangelicals not only enable, but literally APPLAUD. And they dont blv, as many do, that republicans hold all the biblical teachings. Infact, on that, Vischer said they hold "most, but not ALLL". & THAT is FACT. me? My opinion on the scripture “love your neighbor as you love yourself” means that we must first love ourselves before we can love anyone including loving The Most High God because how can we love someone that we do not know? 1st John ch4 v 8 says that “God is Love” And when we are born into this world we all need everything and have nothing to give so we are automatically selfish and depend on parents, our first teachers to teach us everything about life and love to our advantage or unfortunately could be a disadvantage to us which ultimately results to who we all become as an individual or person. So this is a deep and important subject. Thanks for having this discussion!

People forget slavery in the bible was more aligned with indentured servitude....people were the 'spoils' of war who were bound for 7 years and could then choose freedom or continued servitude (opted for if well treated) and became full fledged members of society. The colonizers in Jamaica had to pass a law forbidding land transfers because the Irish overseers who had children were leaving their land to children they had with 'slaves'. America WAS unique in its law that labelled enslaved people as 2/3 human in order to circumvent the scripture that "all men are created equal".....and although that is not the law today, its clear some people still value non-white people less than people who look and act like them, with little compassion for the huge unexplained disparities (especially in incarceration) and if your FIRST thought is that "well THEY do commit more crime" you prove my point.

If your family can barely feed itself, what are the odds that you have $30 a month or more for a transit pass so you can go to school way over there? Also, what happens to the schools that families abandon to attend the "better" schools? (Also, "better" is almost always code for "white." That's not my opinion, but a well-known reality.) "School choice" is truly a privilege, whether there's a voucher system or not. It is almost entirely utilizable by folks of at least some means, and we're still leaving the others "behind." It makes more sense to me to shore up all of the schools. There's no reason school funding should be based on property tax in the immediate area. School choice usually pairs with charters (which is nothing but a money grab by private entities). School choice and vouchers just subdizes the wealthy and upper middle class for a choice they would make anyway. We already have school choice: you can home school, go to a private school, or go to your community public school ... one of those is paid for by the public. Where the public pays, the public has a say. Right now, the public has the opportunity to give input into their community public school. The public school is the resource. That is not true of private schools, charters, or home schools. When you go with vouchers, that makes the child the resource, and the public should have a right to how that money is spent. However, most choice/voucher promoters want the cash, but they don't want the oversight. It doesn't work that way. Public education is the thing that has made American great. It is the single most effective (as flawed as it is) way we have to at least begin to help kids who come from disadvantaged families. School taxes should stay in the public schools of the community the taxes come from. That gives everyone a vested interested in keeping those schools as good as they can be.

What a vile, wicked, racist thing to even say or promote. You people would behoove yourselves to exegetically read, and re-read Galatians 3:28 and Revelation 7:9. If a self proclaimed “Christian” is racist, then they are not a Christian.

What economic system do you advocate for? Is capitalism bad for a society, and if so, does that mean socialism is the solution? Thank you for all of your videos, btw! They are so informative and interesting to watch. :)

The people who are "educating you that you're wrong", Phil, are doing nothing more than returning the favor. Remember, you started this with your social justice pseudo gospel talk.

I agree, abortion is a big issue especially for an evangelical like myself. The murdering of children must be addressed. To me, race and social justice seem like idols in many peoples lives. We need biblical justice. Social justice seems to be very political.

@@crunchtime_fitness well it appears we have different definitions of the word racism which makes it difficult to have a discussion. My definition of racism is when you are mean, make fun of, treat people unfairly, or discriminate against someone because of skin color. I was a minority in the community i grew up in.

I am a former Christian who left the faith in large part because of the hypocrisy on social issues like race and class. My views on Christianity have recently been altered - at least some - by these very (actually Christ centered) videos on practical applications of how I was originally taught about Jesus’s love of the downtrodden. Hey, maybe there are actually practicing Christians who really seek to be Christ-like. But, I am so glad that BigT Proudboomer has reinforced my original realization of the bankruptcy of this religion by reminding me of the “progressive propaganda” that such actions are. You know, such “progressive propaganda” ideas such as abolition of slavery and voting rights for women, and child labor laws. BigT Proudboomer has reminded me that we should certainly strive to “make America Great Again,” like when blacks were slaves, women knew their place, and very young children were “free” to work in dangerous factory conditions. Ah, for the good old days when white evangelicals had all the power and life was great (for them). Thanks, BigT Proudboomer for pointing out the real meaning of “love thy neighbor.” So, glad that you are here to tell us what Jesus “really” meant. Blessed are the nut jobs, for their conservative minds are always full of warm mush.
