The number of turns affect the inductance of the eletromagnet as well as its DC resistance and its strength. The AC impedance is a function of the driving frequency and the inductance, which is also affected by the materal the wires is wrapped around. However, i feel everything in this video is either arbitrary. or the number of tunrs dont matter as long as there is either enough of them and that they are are roughtly equal. ... i don't like how these videos give no specifics or instructions.
