Well, as you can tell, I don’t type. I talk in my phone types where my phone came up with that sentence is beyond me. It was supposed to say, (thanks for watching. Jim.). I guess I need to proofread a little more closely, but I have so many emails to answer. I try to go as quick as I can. Jim

Jim, I have a question. My elderly uncle has a 1970s Snapper riding rear engine mower. I've been through so many videos but he can't find his manual and he can't remember how to remove the deck. Do you have a video that I'm just not finding? He's had this mower 40 years and kept it in really good shape but his memory isn't what it once was. Would you help? Love your Snapper videos, I've learned so much just trying to find one to help him.

I would need your model number or at least some pictures of your machine. There are several different styles of decks and they all come off differently. Send the information to my email, which is. jimsfixitshop@gmail.Com Along with your phone number and I’ll call you and explain it to you. If you send it to my email, nobody will see it but me. Jim.

JIM, What would make a carburetor run the engine wide open all of a sudden?. It runs good and then speeds up, FAST.
@k9under Жыл бұрын
Clogged main jet.

@@k9under Thank you, I appreciate that.

I would check your governor and make sure that’s working properly. I would think if the main jet is clogged up, it would cause it to surge or not run at high speed at all. Jim.

Jim do you know the last year snapper rider use the bike handle bars?
@jimjackson9381 Жыл бұрын
One place I read on the snapper forum, 1989. They dropped the handlebars and came out with the oval steering wheel. Jim.

@@jimjackson9381 thanks Jim I have bike handle but can't figure out what year engine got 2000 to 2001.
@jimjackson9381 Жыл бұрын
If it’s a Briggs & Stratton engine, the first two numbers of the code should tell you what year it is. Jim.
