I'm so glad I get to associate the Backstreet Boys with blimps and fake airplane businesses now 😄 This podcast is amazing. Also, dammit, there's no way to listen about this topic without opening another tab that's playing BSB music, is there? *sigh. Fine. _I guess I'll do that_ *queues up Backstreet Boys mix in another tab I'm happy to hear that bit about "The Looks of New Kids on the Block but the sound of Boyz 2 Men" because I really wondered, as a kid, what was up with all the New Jack Swing-style sound of both early Backstreet Boys and N*Sync albums. I mean, ffs, I associate ♪Just Got Paid with N*Sync instead of Johnny Kemp, and it's HIS song... complete with the image of the boys wearing colorful Zoot Suits from a live performance somewhere (Abe Simpson's voice: _which was the style at the time!)_ and now it all makes sense. This topic was far more interesting than I thought it would be going in. Knocked it out of the park, DGO!
