most atheists, agnostics, sceptics, deep thinkers, rational/ logical persons will find buddhism the most accessible religion of all. its more like a philosophy, how to be happier, without all the nonsense. buddha was a skeptic too, he even said , don't literally take everything what he said, he told us to adapt, evolve, and change if its wrong, that's just like the rationale of science!... of course, there are many radical branches/ flaws of Buddhism coz it was an ancient school of thought, and interpreted through hundreds of generations. branches like vijrayana , mahayama n all doesn't make some sense. but the original hinayana school of thought. that! we can learn so many from it.

Great video! Unfortunately most muslims probably won't even watch it carefully and take it seriously. Most religious people intuitively realise how dangerous such ideas are for them, so they avoid them even if those ideas are correct. Few people put truth over their well-being. Which is why so many people accept bad ideas simply because their community believes in those bad ideas. Large groups can therefore become safe places for bad ideas to survive. And they don't survive because the ideas make sense. They survive, because noone dares to upset the group. It can be dangerous to upset your group. That's why people like you should be admired. It took a lot of courage and intellectual honesty to do what you did. Most people seem to lack such honesty and courage.

@@jawwadghaffar4900 The problem starts with something that has nothing to do with islam: There's still no evidence for any god or gods. None... So we're already off to a bad start. But even if we assume that there was a god, then the question is how you can prove that he has anything to do with Mohammed and those odd islamic writings. I don't see how you could prove this, since it happend 1400 years ago. So far i didn't rely on anything someone told me (i have my own koran at home by the way). Muslims will try to explain this, but all attempts i've seen so far were huge failures. The muslims i've talked to were very bad at understanding what evidence even is. They kept mentioning things that aren't able to prove that the koran was devinely inspired. I've been actively looking for truth for well over a decade now and i've become quite a lot better at understanding what is necessary to show that something is actually true and how to examine claims. The scientific process, logical fallacies, biases, epistemology are obviously big parts of that. Strangely enough most muslims have no clue about these topics, almost as if they weren't even interested in figuring out what the most reliable way to examine reality is. Almost as if they are only interested in making excuses for their believes with no real interest in what's actually true. That would explain why their arguments just aren't convincing.

You're right about the fresh and salt water, but this is something that for example Aristotle observed and explained. Also, people have sailed the seas for thousands of years before Muhammad and would have observed rivers flowing into salty bodies of water. Also, if you read the tafsirs on some of these verses, the tafsir scholars actually mention a land division between the two bodies of water. It is never obsolete. Human interpretation changes over time as it is simple nature. We tend to over complicate messages over time making a big deal out of everything. Classical Arabic is the language of the of the Quran, Muslims want to understand it, but since many of us speak different languages and follow a different society, we want to be able to understand it in a way we can, thus creating many different alterations of the Quran. People are negligent of the true way however. The true way, is the way the Prophet SAW conveyed the Quran to us, and Classical Arabic is the true way to read it.

Technically, since black holes evaporate slowly, that may never happen. Also, stars get ejected from galaxies all the time, and galaxies collide ejecting more stars. However, let's keep in mind that people in the ancient times didn't know what stars were and they often thought that meteors were stars that were falling - which is why they are called shooting stars - this is why we see many ancient cultures and texts talking of falling stars (to the Earth). They most certainly were not talking about stars moving in galaxies!

One of the saddest things to me about history is when you'll learn more about a country or people through another's history. You can look up some small country maybe 3000 or 15 hundred years ago and get info on their king and religion. But if you look into their more popular neighbor's or empire's history, they talk about trading relations, routes, language barriers, knowledge, relations and so on. I am an atheist but a lot of the arguments mentioned here can be easily refuted. For instance, there is the problem of language being prone to interpretation and so I can alter the meaning of a verse to fit my reality but this does raise the question of maybe this so-called god intended the best interpretations. For instance, "he made the sun a shining light and the moon a light". Realize that he did not state whether or not the moon itself was a source of light and you can argue that since he said the sun was a "shining" light and the moon just a light this author or lets say God understands the distinction and the bottom line was just that both sources emit light whether it be through reflection or being the source itself and the fact that he didn't say shining light twice to describe both means that he understands the distinction. imo your videos would be more convincing if you provide a more impartial and balanced discussion.

I don't think that is ignorance, we should always look at both sides and all interpretations. The claim about the moon and sun itself, like all claims mentioned in the video, are open to interpretation. But this claim in specific, it was not hard at all to bend it to the real facts. I believe it would be a stronger argument for this channel to give a claim made by the Quran that is completely absurd in relation to the real fact and if someone were to alter the interpretation to fit the facts it would seem very intense and not right if that makes sense; then you can call that ignorance. Otherwise, I wasn't completely convinced by this video. To be fair though some claims seemed absurd but reading them in Arabic (I speak Arabic) they sounded a bit less non-sensical. I like to argue both sides, and this video lacks that balanced discussion deeming it less convincing in my opinion. He just seems to be fueled by hatred towards Islam rather than looking at it through an impartial lens, which may be what he is going for but I just personally think makes him just slightly less credible, again.

Peace be upon you, brother. I'll try to clarify your confusions in sha allah. Al-Qur'an 51:49, Allah says, "And of all things We have created two mates; perhaps you will remember." Here, Allah says that all things were created in pairs. The pair doesn't just mean male and female, it also means a thing and another thing having an opposite nature. Like night and day, light and darkness, heat and cold, nucleus-electron, matter and anti-matter, etc. Same way, animals were also created in pairs. Even the animals that reproduce without any opposite gender also have a pair-half among the other animals. The creatures do have communities like us. Study shows that even the solitary animals also form community. None lives completely alone nor can they live alone. Man is created from dust or clay. If you examine the clay, you will find all the elements that form the human body. Qur'an 16:66, Allah speaks of the production of milk, "And indeed, for you in grazing livestock is a lesson. We give you to drink from what is in their bellies-between feces and blood..." This is not wrong. It is actually the blood circulation. When a mammal eats, the food goes to the stomach following the intestine and the process of making feces begins. From there, the blood vessels in the intestine carry the nutrition and supply them to many organs including the breasts where the milk is produced. And I agree that milk is not drinkable for all. But if you look at the later part of the verse, it says, "....pure milk, palatable for DRINKERS." Not all, it only mentions the drinkers. And I am stating these from the Saheeh International translation of Qur'an. Yes, horses were created for ride. It doesn't matter when they were created, they were created for our transportation and yes, we are using them as transportations. I see no other use of horses. Qur'an 6:143-144 says, "The grazing livestock are 8 mates. Of the sheep, two; and of the goats, two. Say, "Is it the two males He has forbidden or the two females or that which the wombs of the two females contain?"... And of the camels, two; and of the cattle, two. Say, "Is it the 2 males or the 2 females or that which the wombs of the females contain that He has forbidden?... Then who is more unjust than one who invents lie about Allah to mislead people?"" By this verse, we can understand that Allah created 8 mates out of the livestock. But it doesn't mean that He did create others. Allah is saying that these are the ones that He made lawful but some claim them to be forbidden. So, Allah revealed this verse to clarify that He has made them lawful. Yes, Allah strikes with thunderbolts whom He wills. It is not only a punishment, it is a natural event that is sometimes used as punishment. Let me give an example. Suppose I am having a winter vacation. It doesn't mean that because of my vacation, winter season came. Rather it means, because of winter season, I am having vacation. Same way, it is not that Allah sends thunderbolts only as punishment but they are natural events and sometimes used as punishments. It is true that Allah has subjected for us ships and they are in His command. Allah still can control anything He wants. He is Almighty. Qur'an 81:2 says that on the Last Day, when the universe will be destroyed, the stars will fall. It means that there will be heavy meteor showers and the stars will collide with one another and other celestial bodies. Yes, Allah has surely beautified the heaven nearest to us with stars. Why does that confuse you? Just look at the clear night sky and you will see the beauty. And it doesn't mean that the heaven is right here with the word "nearest". It means that among the 7 heavens, the 1st heaven beneath which we exist is the heaven nearest to us. Now you may think that the 7 heavens and earths; it's all mythological belief, but they are true. How much do we know about astronomy? We are still learning. And same way, like I tried to explain thunderbolts, the meteor shower is also natural and used, sometimes, as punishment for the devils. The moon HAS split in two. About 14 centuries ago. The astronomers have discovered a mark on the middle of the moon-surface as though it had split. So, it is true. The Qur'an doesn't say that the moon is a light. Rather 10:5 says, "It is He who made the sun a shining light and the moon a DERIVED light..."(Saheeh International translation)not just light, a derived light and the sun a shining light; which means that it is the sun that truly shines and the moon derives or reflects the light of the shining sun. Glory be to Allah! 1400 yrs ago, He revealed that the moon reflects the sunlight. Qur'an 55:33, Allah says, "O company of jinn and mankind! If you are able to pass the regions of the heavens and earth, then pass. You will not pass them except by the authority(from Allah)." Allah doesn't say that none can ever pass them but says none can pass them without the authority from Him. And at the beginning of the verse, Allah says, "O company of jinn and mankind.." not "O muslims.." So, the non-muslims first went to space; that is normal. And they were able because Allah authorized them. And still, we couldn't even pass the regions of our solar system yet, let alone the 7 heavens. 36:40, "It is not allowable for the sun to reach the moon, nor does the night overtake the day, but each, in an orbit, is swimming." 21:33, "It is He who created night and day, the sun and the moon, each swimming in an orbit." The word "earth" is not even mentioned here. You misunderstood it. It doesn't say that the sun moves round the earth but says that the sun has an orbit. And science tells us now that the sun and the stars are not stationary but they are swimming in their own orbits. Well, 91:1-2 says that the moon follows the sun. But it means that the moon comes to sight in the night sky after the sun in day sky. 36:38 says that the sun moves on course towards its resting place. It means that the sun is moving in its orbit and going to a place where the sun will halt ultimately; on the Last Day. "Until when he came to the rising of the sun.." means that the man named Dhul-Qarnayn came to a place when the sun was rising, not the place where the sun rises. And also, the sun does not set in a muddy spring. In the verse(18:86), Allah says that Dhul-Qarnayn saw the star setting in a muddy spring, like we see when we go to the beach. Allah speaks of the man's perspective, not the real fact. The sky does work like a protective ceiling. The gas layers in the sky prevent the harmful rays of the sun from entering earth surface. It also keeps our planet warm and habitable for our existence. On the Last Day, the heavens will be folded like a scroll. Which means, the universe will be folded to the centre of it where the Big Bang happened. This is true. It is known as the Big Crunch Theory which states how a universe will be destroyed. A universe comes in existence through a Big Bang, it keeps expanding, then it gets all joined together again like the folding of a paper. The heavens(the universe) were a bunch of smoke at the beginning. It is a well-established fact proved by the scientists. Qur'an 2:29 and 41:10-12 say that It is He who creates everything that is on earth. THUMMA, He directed Himself to the heavens. The Arabic word is Thumma which means "then" , but it also means "simultaneously". If you use "then", then it is wrong. But if you use "simultaneously", then it's correct because the heavens and the earth were created simultaneously. The mountains do work like stakes and they prevent small earthquakes and keep the rotation of Earth steady. At places where sun does not set or rise for long time, people should keep fasting according to the time of the nearby area. Allah knows all and He is the Forgiver. At the beginning when the Qur'an was revealed, people used to laugh at the fact about ants' speaking. But recent study shows that ants do talk with one another. Even they have communities, when one of them dies, the others attend its funeral and burry it, they even have marketplaces. In one word, they are a lot like humans. The foetus in the mother's womb does develeop recieving a fluid emerged through a vessel from the space between the backbone and ribs. Even the genital organs also recieve blood and nerve supply from the space betweem the backbone and 11th and 12th ribs. The sperm-drop then turns into 'Alaq which means a leech-like clinging clot. At the initial stage, a human embryo looks and works like a leech and it clings on the utarus wall and the blood doesn't run at the first stage so it also looks like a blood clot. 23:14 says, "Then We made the sperm-drop into clinging leech-like clot, the clot into lump of flesh, then the lump bones and cover the bones with flesh.." So it says that lump of flesh is formed first, then bones and then the bones are covered with flesh. 11:5 says, "When they cover themselves in clothing, Allah knows what they conceal and what they declare." The word "heart" is not even mentioned here. 67:3 says, "And it is He who created 7 heavens in layers. You do not see in the creation of Allah any inconsistency.." here Allah speaks of the heavens as His creation and it is flawless. Anyway, thanks for stating the confusions. I hope you understood. Sorry. There's been a typing mistake while I was explaining the 143rd and 144th verse of the 6th chapter of the Qur'an. It says that Allah created 8 mates out of the livestock. It does not mean that He did not create others. These are just the ones that Allah made lawful for us to eat.
